I'm a big fan of Splatoon and have been wanting to do this as my next Splatoon song, and when it was revealed that the next Splatfest was going to be the final one, AND it was a Callie vs Marie themed Splatfest, well there will never be a more perfect time for this remix.

I love how the original lyrics are about trying not to die, and then metal version makes it sound more like a dance party. That reversal is friggin gold.

The Calamari Inkantation means something along the lines of, "You need to carry on, don't give on your life." I like how you remastered the final boss song.

I was playing this over the music during the Callie vs. Marie Splatfest, only to realize that Nintendo is actually using Calamari Inkantation as the stage music for this Splatfest!

If this was released as a maxi single in Japan, with Marie & Callie on the cover art, and with little advertising, this would soar to the #1 of the Oricon for a couple of weeks and sell for a million copies.

if anyone is wondering why there's lyrics it's because the splatoon characters are saying words it's just that they're squids so their voice is obviously different (some of the things that they say are pretty clear)
