6:30 What's funny is that my church is thinking of ways to use Pokemon Go to help reach out to our city and be more open to the public. It helps that we're a gym, but we want to do more with it, especially with our public events.

It's not Pokemon Go's fault that people get hit by cars while playing. That is entirely the stupidity of the person's fault. In case you didn't know, Pokemon Go has a map on it that shows the road. If someone is ignorant enough to blatantly disregard this safety precaution, that's on them, not the game. My friend and I went on an hour and a half long walk while playing Pokemon Go, this being in a very busy place with cars speeding past. Every time we saw a road on the map we stopped, looked, and then we crossed. Do you want to know why? Because we aren't stupid.

This reminds me of a kid, who I used to know, that LOVED The Legend of Zelda and would always hum the music and stuff. One day he just started to say that he hated it because of "demonic references" and how it was against his religion or whatever. I respected his decision but honestly I just thought it was really stupid that he started hating it because it was supposely satanic.
THIS is why I hate organized religion. It's always denying children of fun and freedom and life and all, solely because one guy didn't like it.

I don't think "it was his decision" describes that at all, AsianTheDomination. Ashley said he was a kid, and one who loved the franchise enough to hum its music all the time. If someone like that stops doing what he likes to do and talks about "demonic references," that sounds like some parent or pastor or teacher pressured him to change.
If the game was Ocarina of Time, there is actually an interesting story behind it.
In OoT's Fire Temple, the music track actually does contain a stock soundfile of an Islamic chant or prayer. People heard it and got upset, and caused Nintendo to replace it in further versions of the game. Even today, the Virtual Console version doesn't have that audio file, but you can easily find the original on RUclips.
So if this is the right game, I think it makes a little more sense.

So, as a Christian and a guy who is training to become a Children's Pastor, this guy calling Pokemon "digital demons" is an idiot. I've been a Christian most of my life and I have absolutely no problem with Pokemon. Most Pokemon are based off of actual animals or inanimate objects. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's just plain ignorant to call Pokemon demonic.

If these pokemon in PKM GO are "digital demons" then they shouldn't be able to get in the building. I'm delighted that the churches in my area are pokestops and the library too! I live in a small town and I've never seen it so alive, I've never seen so many people at the churches and library, and I've met some new and fun people playing this game! I'm a digital artist and I'm usually at my computer inside all day, but playing Pokemon Go has allowed me to get exercise and sunlight! I'm a born-again Christian, and have been for twelve years. I'm also the proud owner of many pokemon cards and a proud member of Team Instinct. This game has done more good than harm and I wish people could see that!

This game isn't demonic, but due to serious flaws in its programming, the Pokemon tend to occur in horribly inconvenient places, and it inspires stupid people who don't pay attention to things, or just casually assume that the programmers knew what they were doing, to risk harming themselves.

The fact a real human made claim that pokemon gives you real life superpowers over time (and that it's a bad thing)... or that a phone app literally *dragged* their child across the street, an app that they "weren't playing", makes me very disappointed in the human race.
