For ND to have a chance that defense is going to have to play its best game of the season create some turnovers to give the offense short fields in which they must stay disciplined and find creative ways to put up some points and control the clock for the most part. Against that ridiculously talented Ohio State squad they can't afford to fall behind they must start strong and finish strong.
@luisalejandro2335 the ND D-line is not the issue. It's that offense against that elite OSU defense that's concerning, Texas which isn't a super terrible offense couldn't even punch it in from the 1 yard line with a fresh set of downs to tie the game and keep their hopes alive, that's how good that Ohio State defense is. That's why I said the ND defense is going to have to play insanely good themselves to offset much of that.

We got 10 days to get healthy! We've been doing this missing our best two d lineman and o lineman. Love has been hurt! Giving us 9.5 is disrespectful! We'll show u better than I can tell u!
The best way to beat OSU is to run the ball, getting behind the sticks and facing that pass rush and secondary is a losing proposition. Can ND run on OSU? Seems like they certainly could do so if Michigan could, and the OSU offensive line is not dominant. Is this OSU team better than the 2022 version? Maybe but the ND team seems quite a bit better than that group. OSU’s offense can be attacked, ND has the backend to cover and cause havoc. Will Howard is better than Allar but he isn’t Trevor Lawerence.
I have a question for all OSU fans is smith better then Harrison Jr, I’m asking cause the only difference from that team that won by a point in south bend i see a identical team is it not
Did one of these guys say these two teams have had favorable matchups? OSU has had a brutal road and ND had to beat Georgia and Penn St. maybe I heard him wrong
Ohio State vs Nebraska: 21-17. Ohio State loses to Michigan. Ohio State struggles against Texas. Ohio State can’t solve defensive teams. Bad play calling bailed Ohio State out. Irish have the edge. Ohio State’s “anger” is manufactured.
Favorable match-ups? Ohio State hasn't exactly had those so far. Notre Dame has, in part because Georgia didn't have their starting QB. But everybody needs to be taken very seriously at this point.
People need to stop the backup QB thing. Stockton was the better option considering the strengths of the ND defense. Beck is a interception machine, averaging more than one interception per game, and the ND secondary is an elite unit with ball hawks all over. They also have a front 7 that controls the line and gets at the QB, and Beck is less capable of evading pressure. If he plays that game, the score is probably more lopsided because the Irish force more turnovers and get more sacks. Also, Notre Dame was more injured than Georgia. Missing 3 key starters on defense, two of them All Americans, and their Center. Then they lost more players in game, to the point that they essentially had their second string defense in for the entire 4th quarter. Not to mention their HB1 Love was playing injured. It is funnupy, because before the Georgia game, I didn't see a single person saying Notre Dame would win. Didn't hear anyone with a bad thing to say about Stockton. All I kept hearing was how Georgia was going to dominate the Irish, and that Stockton was a great QB, probably better than Beck. But ND beats them, and now it was because of the backup QB... The QB who was the best player on the field in that game for Georgia by the way.

Notre dame doesn’t have the offense Texas does now here’s the thing notre dame has a slightly better defense but they don’t play zone like Texas they play man and oh boy you better be careful doing that against smith and egbuka
Stop comparing him to Riley
@@samknight9825 agreed that it is risky. Notre Dame is probably the only team in the country that has a chance of making man-to-man coverage work though
If Texas had riley leonard they wouldve gotten a td when they were on the 1 yard line
GENTS -Keep in mind OHIO ST. beat a OREGON TEAM that was TOTALLY UNPREPARED.Lanning was talking to NFL GM's.Ohio st did play with a lot of Passion .
It’s CFP semifinals … “Final Four” actually is trademarked by the NCAA for basketball only. You are an exclusive NCAA partner. Don’t they tell you Final Four is a hoops-only term?
Better stop sleeping on ND. They beat two really good teams in Georgia and Penn State. That team has some fight in them.
Georgia had a back up qb, penn st had a no passing qb…
Penn state had zero catches in the 2nd half… ND IS NOT SHUTTING DOWn ZONE 6. Expect JJ to take off next game after not shining in the Cotton BOWL. Combine JJ, TATE, AND EGBUKA with HENDERSON AND JUDKINS… GOOD LUCK 😂😂😂😂
@@jcfontanez7432wtf is a no passing qb drew allar is a pocket passer you make no sense lol
SHHHHHHH !
I want OSU to wake up and go to sleep every day for the next ten days saying, “We’ve already got this in the bag, we’ve already got it in the bag, we’re good, we’re good…”☘️☘️☘️
Ohio State has 2 offensive linemen injured. I don't wanna hear about injuries. Ohio State has had to completely restructure their line. They have a guard playing LT in place of an All American and a backup is playing in the LG spot because of that switch. A back up Center in place of an All American/Rimington winner. Teams like this figure it out because of the way they recruit. Gonna be a great game. Go Buckeyes
Wild how biased an official espn account is, yall about to be sick 🍀🍀🍀🍀ND coming with all they got, this is their year please don’t stop with the slander MF thrives off of it
Don't bother with the silly CFP seedings. Go by the AP rankings. Notre Dame is #3. Ohio St is #6.
Go Irish
Give us the doubt. ND don’t need no one but themselves.
How did Ohio State have favorable matchups? They have had the toughest road to a National Championship game ever. lol
Why don't people act like this is probably the LEAST favorable matchup for OSU? And btw ND had almost 400 yards against that psu defense and outplayed them for over a half.
OSU had 358 against them. 🤷🏿
@othellosson1621 and ND had 393
@ You said 400 like it was a great feat. When in actually was not 400. 😉
Gonna be a good game
@@othellosson1621your acting like 7 yards is remotely close to having 400
But Lou Holtz says Ohio State is not tough. He also said Notre Dame could win a Superbowl.
I have a question for all OSU fans is smith better then Harrison Jr, I’m asking cause the only difference from that team that won by a point in south bend i see a identical team is it not
I am giving Notre Dame a shot, they are going to shock the college football world! Don't believe me, just watch!
ND WILL WIN THE NATTY!
This won’t age well
ND 27-21😎
Did he say have favorable match ups for these teams? ND had to play the SEC champion and BIG10 runner up and OSU had to play Tennessee, Oregon & UT.
I'm going for ND.
ND wins!!!
Lol. You're funny
Did one of these guys say these two teams have had favorable matchups? OSU has had a brutal road and ND had to beat Georgia and Penn St. maybe I heard him wrong
Keep that same energy now
Ohio State vs Nebraska: 21-17.
@@snerdterguson
It's just the ND hate/sour grapes. Even if ND wins the championship, they still won't have played anybody. And some will still prolly try to call them "irrelevant".
The Buckeyes don’t play like that back to back games
Amazing two asian coaches facing off in the national title game!!
Wait Ryan days Asian?
@@LiamTharp-v5f Day is a WARLOCK of COVENS .
The Irish will win. If they wanted to be certain, they should borrow Michigan's uniforms and watch O$U go running away screaming in horror peeing their pants lol 😱
I was saying that same thing lol
ND may be on crutches, bandages, icy hot, braces and duct tape, but they'll bring it to that 20 mil roster. Go Irish!
LOL Blow-hio St. barely beat Texas and lost to an undermanned Michigan team earlier on but keep that arrogant energy after the Irish beat the odds and win their 1st title since 1988.
Same two teams i had from beginning. Notre Dame for the Ship!
Notre Dame would have been the 3 seed in a four team CFP, Ohio State might have still gotten in as the 4, but it likely would have gone to Texas IMO.
OSU got outplayed. They hit a 75 yd screen right before halftime and an 83 yd fumble recovery. First and goal from the 1 and Texas is passing the ball lol. U ain't getting that level of stupidity from us I'll tell u that!
Go Irish❤👍💪
Will Howard gonna be terrified in the pocket. Irish by 100☘️
OSU - 126
ND - 3
Just for that I'm not pulling out on your mom
Dummy
@hehateme542 don't you have a Catholic priest to forgive for raping a kid?
Then theeeee .................Alarm clock went on !
DREAMERS LIVE FOREVER .
Keep sleeping on the ☘️ we gone win it all mark my words
Thank god for the NCAA fonally waking up and doing what's fair for all conferences. Hopefully, they'll go to 16 and get it perfect. Im a big proponent of the playoffs, its working as designed, but a sweet 16, would give every conference a shot, and i like that.
For Michigan we won we actually want OSU to win so we can show them again next season... "You still can't beat us"
Eight teams is plenty.
