oh wow - what a wonderful experience that all would have been! Puffins seem to be a gorgeous bird. The details you've captured are beautiful. Thanks for sharing the joy of them.
Hi Kim, wow aren't Puffins beautiful & just so intriguing to watch. Really wonderful images Kim . Thanks so much for sharing your time there with us, very inspiring not only in photography but beautiful, stunning nature too. x
Was on Westray last year but a little too late in the season for Puffins, got nice shots of Seals and Gannets though. Well worth the hour on the ferry, beautiful island and lovely people that have a habit of waving to you, even the young children. Off to Iceland in 3 weeks and lots of Puffins, they are so endearing and photogenic 📷 lovely shots Kim, liked the effect of shooting through grass and flowers, as you say different 👍 and the more normal images were fabulous.
Good morning, beautiful birds and photo's. We as humans are blessed with so much around us, one just has to stop, and look around. Material things can't compare to the natural beauty given to us. Well done Kim, thanks again for a sunday morning video, have a safe and blessed week.
A great start to a Sunday. Wish i was there. They are such beautiful birds and one day i hope to get to photograph them. Absolutely stunning image's Kim.
Great images Kim, and thanks for taking the time to share your settings on some of them. I know you have discussed in the past the reasons for not doing this and I totally agree. There are videos that are heavy on the tutorial and gear side, which have their place, but sometimes emphasizing all the non-technical bonuses of doing photography is why we watch and why we enjoy doing it. I did notice on this one that I was curious about the settings and glad when they popped up. For amateurs, like myself, it can give us ideas of where to start even if the situations are only remotely similar and we are using different gear or shooting styles.
Happy Sunday morning Kim and another wonderful vlog to wake up to. Stunning shots as per usual and thank you for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Hi Kim, I just discovered your channel. With your 40+ k subscribers I am not alone. My comment doesn't relate to this particular video but to your channel. A year and half ago, I bought my first camera. I have now got a better one but your sentiments reflect so closely mine. There are two things in this endeavour, getting out and taking the photos and then coming home to relive the experience in the intricate, mind blowing beauty of Creation. You are substantially doing in your channel something that I had vaguely hoped to do myself as I saw the benefits to getting out in nature for my mental health. Congratulations. I have a lot of your videos to catch up with. PS I like your name.
Great video again Kim and your passion shines through, thank you. Was on Skomer a couple of weeks ago with an increase in the number of puffins to over 40,000 this year, amazing birds to just watch and enjoy, never fail to make me smile. Take good care of you. Best wishes. Terry
Nigel is a landscape photographer venturing into wildlife. Kim has definitely got the edge with her puffin shots. I especially like those with the thrift in shot.
Wow! Beautiful images! Puffins are such photogenic birds. One of the birds that I really want to photograph. Have you thought about doing a workshop in Orkney to photograph Puffins? For me and since I am in Miami, it would have to be for next year, but would love to do one there. Thank you!
great video Kim thanks so much for the lovely images. maybe if an ice age ever came in my life time i can see them here in hot humid Jeddah, LOL, God forbid.

Great video Kim as we don't get Puffins in Australia...they are an interesting breed & their colours are fantastic...the colour of their beaks gets brighter during the breeding season.... cheers from Australia 🦘🦘😊
Great stuff. Thinking 300mmm 2.8, but too heavy and depth of field maybe problem, so Nikon 300mm f4 mf from the eighties it is next week on the mainland!
I have enjoyed Puffins several times i Norway, one year I spent some days many hours in the middle of a Puffin colony, often the Puffins came closer than my Lens could focus at 1.7m
