An older lad had 1 when we raced with Horsham school boy mx club 79/80 he also had the biggest American motor home to go with it!!!! It always always had a crowd around the bike as it was the first water cooled bike around 👍🏻
Ive got a copy of this, runs a dg alloy arm, dg gold head, alloy tank and fox piggybacks, johnny O seat cover. Goes real nice and gets ridden as it should.
A lad i use to race with back in the 70"s his dad brought one of Omara's spare bike, he payed about £3000 for it, his dad was the owner of DG Racing here in the Uk, Mark Banks now owns that one..
what does the serial number on the case say, because I am pretty sure it's not the bike unless you got it from a thief in Hesperia that stole it from behind Al Bakers XR's only in the mid 80's. it showed up at my house along with 2 other bikes and me having no idea anything about the bike was trying to do research and find info2 days before I did I came home from work and it and six other bikes 3 of them were my own bikes were missing ....STOLEN out of my garage...next day I find the article in the back of a magazine talking about said bike. All I came to find out was a dump truck showed up the bikes were thrown into the dump bed and never seen again The serial number on the case of the one I saw was.....JO001
A true icon of a bike! It was THE bike of my dreams at that time (1980)🤯. Beautiful!
