*Thoughts:* Going from being the only microstate to ever win to failing to land a single qualification in the 21st century is pretty sad 😢 Sadder still is that one of the songs they entered is actually pretty amazing, but it's the worst performing of the three. I think the only thing that could return Monaco to the contest would be if other microstates started getting good results again, and now Andorra seems to be getting the ball rolling again, who knows? 🤔

I saw on Twitter yesterday an artist that went to the Black Sea camp mentioning representing Monaco, so maybe the dream is still alive? But yeah, it was unfortunate that all microstates started coming on the worst possible era for them to get votes, 2005 is pretty damn good, it probably should have qualified, or at least not get second-to-last overall, since that was a pretty good year.
@@kaickfilipe4802 that's so interesting!! It seems there are always people willing to represent withdrawn countries even if broadcasters aren't down to participates.

Monaco was a great country. Back in the 60s and 70s. When they returned to the contest in the 2000s, they just sent bad songs. No wonder they failed to qualify. Here's my opinion.
3. 2006 - 3,5/10
The weak vocals, combined with a bad song... yeah, this is not good at all.
2. 2004 - 4/10
This song is just very forgettable. I forgot that I listened to it right after listening to it.
1. 2005 - 5/10
This is the best one out of the three entries, but, even then, it's not saying much. It's just a generic ballad that doesn't do anything for me. Monaco used to be good. They were my winners in 1960 and 1978, but their 2000s entries really sucked.

@@zondergezicht literally, none of the jokes were funny and the original songs ranged from bad to okay 😭 I thought there would be more references to make it bearable but most of it was just the mess of a story. At least they gave Molly Sanden her shine, the Husavik song was bleh but if she gets the Oscar nomination I'll be proud 🥺

i started to dislike husavik since it's getting so overrated and overrplayed. but at least molly's vocals were good
