Everyone, please be kind and respectful to the ladies and gentleman that were kind enough to share their salaries. Any negative or bashing comments will not be accepted since the interviewees will probably read the comments section. Thank you everyone! ❤
Makes me want to cry cuz most things there are same price as here in america except for housing. I pray for all these wonderful people, God bless the people of the philippines.
I think watching interviews with the local people is one of my most favorite type Philippine videos. I absolutely love how you end your videos with the peace sign.
Numbers are relative to the cost of living. This story is worldwide the same, no matter what the numbers are. They always make sure you fall short of prospering.
You are very wrong, it's not the same around the world. In Western countries, even cleaners or garbage collectors can buy a home or travel around the world if they work hard. Show me a Filipino or an Indonesian worker of the same job doing that.
@@jaydawg3031 You're wrong, even middle class jobs in western countries don't allow people to buy a home. It is only possible if you're a doctor or have rich parents to help
I have forbidden my wife (Filipina) to go to work. I give her the money she would earn, but in return the house is clean and the children are looked after.
Great video thank u for bringing awareness to what other countries make, it makes me appreciate my salary even more, can’t wait to visit Philippines it looks like a amazing country
I agree - every time we go on vacation to Philippines I always tip if they deserve it. My wife is from there so I know the hard times. Share blessings 🤙🏽
it's all relative. I make P15K daily here in the US and still struggle. My rent is P120K per month. Electric is P15K, Other bills, insurance, food etc is another P100k. Every month is near break-even. Asawa ko makes P6K daily part time, but her check goes towards paying off the house in the Philippines (P3.7M left). Hopefully retire in 10yrs and move back to the Philippines.
True but in america, you won't be able to retire in 10 years with your American salary. I would do what you do as well. Smart move to workhard in america and save up then move
Thanks to your guests for opening up about something personal. I think a lot in the west decide on a lifestyle without regards to how they will support it. It should be the lifestyle needs to fit the money you make. The wasteful spending on unnecessary things is rampant in the west, trying to portray a certain wealthy lifestyle. You also need to adjust salaries for cost of living, once that is done I think it would be close to the west, maybe a bit lower. High salary in the west but higher cost of living so that higher salary doesn't go as far, as with the Philippines, lower salary and lower cost of living, it equals out. But Filipinos have also learned to become resourceful with what they have, like using every part of a chicken for some type of food and vegetables/fruits in everything that are in abundant supply. Where Americans will go to a restaurant and pay $200 for a meal and only eat half of it and throw the rest away. Although it's nice to see the pretty ladies and hear their opinions, it's also nice to hear a man's perspective as well. Thanks for the interviews and I hope you have a wonderful day 😁
I have worked with several filipinas in healthcare here in the USA. I haven't met people from anywhere else in the world that have warmer hearts. Hard working, family focused, loving and beautiful too. I feel silly for waiting so long to decide that I will visit. I pray that God will help me find the other half of me that's been missing and bless me with a family.
New here. Great video. I can’t wait to visit wish I could live there. The people so humble respectful. Seems like everyone was raised with love and respect. You can just tell. I love it. And I respect it. Can’t wait to visit and just experience a new refreshing place and culture. Keep up the good work. 🙏🏿 Peace and love to you and everyone on the video. And also to the whole Philippines 🇵🇭 in general. ❤🙏🏿
I think people were afraid to say, they are not paid enough... And i think the tricycle kuyah exaggerated his wages, as he thought, he would seem more dateable... It sounds like a dollar a day ... Call centers pay better .. walking street pays the best.
So looking forward to getting a job there and meeting the lovely people of Philippines. Not sure if my direct communication style could upset them though
having lived there those salaries are really not enough for them, when they say it's enough they are only just getting by. The minimum wage in the countries allows employers to pay such low wages. I would say at least 1000Php a day(30,000/Mo) would be a basic level of life without struggle for a small family. That is just under $18 USD a day while most are making 6 to 9 a day so they really cannot get out of poverty.
Wow My friend is in a ldr with a pinay And he sends her $500 us dollars a month And she sais its not enuff she wants a raise Wow Thats like 27500 pesos a month And she doesnt even have to work Shes scamming my friend big time I gotta call my friend and tell him He told me she told him average salary per month is 27k Now i just learn average salary is less than 10k a month Which means my friend is sending the girl 3 months worth of salary every month Wow wow wow
$500 should be good if you're living in the province like a Filipino lifestyle. If you're living in the city, $500 monthly might be too low. It all depends on rent, lifestyle, how many family members, and location. Check out our monthly cost of living ruclips.net/video/-FWt36erUkE/видео.html
I’m in Cebu now, the sales lady in the dept store tells me their salary is 430 pesos per 8 hour day but Mr Google says the Philippines minimum wage is now 610 pesos per day 🤔🤔
Thanks for the video. A note. People tend to create bills that meet their income. Also, the western custom of lots of time off is destructive to the person and society. One aspect of the Philippines that i do like is people always work but from what I've observed can get time off when they need it for specific reasons, like dealing with waiting in long lines to deal with various issues.
Apparently it's 300-500 pesos per day and no over time. The bank employees monthly net is 20-25k pesos. Philippines gov need to get better and take care of the workers. I came to visit recently and just to found out...the 1k pesos is the new 100 pesos it be gone in 60 seconds if you wander around in the mall with just food & drinks,,,def can't shop with the 1k😂
To some it seems bad but the cost of living has to be taken into account and in all cases there were no customers in sight, no customers = no profit = no wages to pay and no business. But to be fair the last guy, long hours 7 days a week ! More than I want to work.
I'm trying to learn the Philippine secret to happiness, God knows the American way is failing. I love my country and don't want to leave, but I feel that I would be more comfortable in the Philippines.
It is a shame about the salary in most countries, but that also depends on location and cost of living where they also work and live, it is hard to obtain a decent job, especially when 90% plus go to college and Uni and end up behind a counter, bless them all... I am proud of the people who get off their behind and actually do work no matter what life throws at them, and with a smile and polite..
in coron (palawan) the tuks requires 200pesos for a 1.5km ride when you arrive from the port, so they make half of the daily wage of those philippinos of this video.... those tuks from coron are a bunch of thieves
This is very sad, I'm a Filipino living in Australia and it shows how unfairly paid workers get in the Philippines. The workers in the video don't want to risk being fired so they have to watch what they say. In comparison my 1 hour of pay is equivalent to 7 days of their pay and I work 6-10 hours a day.
The Philippines really is the 3rd world, as they say about the Philippines, to have paid 7 dollars a day is a crime, I am from Romania and in my country the minimum wage is 420 euros net per month, which is very little, in Romania a fast food meal costs from 6 euros upwards, rent for a one-room apartment 200 euros without utilities, 2 rooms rent from 350 euros to me in the country with 7 euros a day you don't live
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your generosity, David! We really appreciate that! Merry Christmas! 🙂🌲🎅

ill be moving to the Philippines soon and will be looking for a live in maid/ cook and was wondering if 12000-14000 pasos would be good pay a month
Well said ❤
I have so much respect for the Filipinos. They know what life is all about. They’re so happy with so little we could all learn from them.
5 to 9pm = 4 hrs per day.
$72 for 15 days of work.
15 days X 4hrs per day = 60 hrs total
$72 divided by 60 hrs = $1.20 per hour 🙏
Thank you 😊
Yup. That’s about right/average.
About 5or6 bucks a day.
I would like this unbeliveable low salary girl so much. Shalin is wonderfull! 😍
Makes me want to cry cuz most things there are same price as here in america except for housing. I pray for all these wonderful people, God bless the people of the philippines.
As a new expat from the USA living in Pampanga.. just wanted to say what a refreshing channel y’all have, enjoying your videos…😊
Awww we appreciate that very much! 😊
I think watching interviews with the local people is one of my most favorite type Philippine videos. I absolutely love how you end your videos with the peace sign.

Single since birth ! 🥰 dignity at its finest. Wow, what a hard-working girl.
Thanks for the comment, David! 😊

They are all very hardworking. Godspeed to all of them! 👍
That's why westerners should always give a tip to these friendly hardworking people as you get a fantastic service from them.
I wanted to give tips but you need smaller denominations there to pay for stuff . They don’t want to change large denominations like 1k
I agree - every time we go on vacation to Philippines I always tip if they deserve it. My wife is from there so I know the hard times. Share blessings 🤙🏽
Thanks for posting! It was so kind of these people to share their salary like this. May God bless all of you🙏

Good and interesting video as usual. Nice to see Robinson mall. We usually do our shopping there.
Awww thank you 😊
We love Robinson Mall.
I enjoy all your videos. Thanks for giving us a perspective of Filipino life.
Our pleasure! 😊

Filipinos are so amazing to work so hard for so little.
Thanks for stopping by 😊
Admire these respectful people for putting in honest work. It's just too bad the Phils is not as cheap as it used to be.
You upgraded your mic. It really helped a lot.
😊😊😊
Potato Corner is delicious . I miss the food stalls.
😊
So much happiness 😊. No matter where you live being this happy is priceless ❤️. Beutiful lady with a beutiful video.
You are so kind
Time for me to visit. I could retire there quite comfortably.
that is amazing, but the cost of living is less.
Hard times all over the world not sure if your government has a minimum wage? Budget your money and stop buying things that are not needed
Perhaps if we all earned 6 bucks a day here in the USA we would smile as much as folks in the Philippines.
Thanks for the comment, Dave! 😊
I think people were afraid to say, they are not paid enough... And i think the tricycle kuyah exaggerated his wages, as he thought, he would seem more dateable... It sounds like a dollar a day ... Call centers pay better .. walking street pays the best.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing that, Reyes! 😊
"do you think you are paid fairly"
"Yes"
In PHP it's fair. In USD it is not fair
So looking forward to getting a job there and meeting the lovely people of Philippines. Not sure if my direct communication style could upset them though
Good luck and thanks for stopping by! 😊
I wish everything good to these people
Simply amazing
…so my $3,737.00USD (₱210k) will do just fine. I’m headed to Cebu for 2 weeks then to Iloilo to retire. I takeoff in 40 days.
Thanks ,great entrivu
Thanks Leo! 😊
how does the wage translate though? like, what percentage is the rent? how many pesos is a typical meal?
having lived there those salaries are really not enough for them, when they say it's enough they are only just getting by. The minimum wage in the countries allows employers to pay such low wages. I agree, that work ethic is carried into the United States.
Tons of respect to the Filipino community. Money doesn't buy happiness :)
Nice video
Thank you! 😊
It's not much what they earn, but you can't compare that, each country is different, country's where they earn more are also more expensive
I used to work 6days here in USA
Wow
My friend is in a ldr with a pinay
And he sends her $500 us dollars a month
And she sais its not enuff she wants a raise
Wow
Thats like 27500 pesos a month
And she doesnt even have to work
Shes scamming my friend big time
I gotta call my friend and tell him
He told me she told him average salary per month is 27k
Now i just learn average salary is less than 10k a month
Which means my friend is sending the girl 3 months worth of salary every month
Wow wow wow
$500 should be good if you're living in the province like a Filipino lifestyle. If you're living in the city, $500 monthly might be too low. It all depends on rent, lifestyle, how many family members, and location.
Check out our monthly cost of living
ruclips.net/video/-FWt36erUkE/видео.html
10k a month is not the average. $500 a month is low if you have a lot of dependents and living in a city.
😂
Question, is there a minimum pay or salary in the Philippines?
Are the wages in Manila more or the same as the province?
Manila wages are higher.
Do the sales people, such at mobile phones and computers, do they make commission on their sales?
She doesn't make commission, but if you are a promoter, you'll get incentives.
The salaries in the Philippines is so low. The ppl work very hard and its doesn't include there travel to work and home..
I’m in Cebu now, the sales lady in the dept store tells me their salary is 430 pesos per 8 hour day but Mr Google says the Philippines minimum wage is now 610 pesos per day 🤔🤔
🤔🤔🤔
Minimum wage depends on the city first and foremost.
Minimum wage depends if it's in the province vs in Manila. I believe in Cebu the minimum wage is Php430 as of Q4 2023
He’s a driver. He’s not employed by a company so you can’t ask him if he’s getting paid properly.

I guess workers in Manila are paid more... because everything prices are high there
Thanks for watching! 😊
These interviews are better than the Filipino pea
Apparently it's 300-500 pesos per day and no over time. The bank employees monthly net is 20-25k pesos. Philippines gov need to get better and take care of the workers. Underpaid, the symptoms of today's economy

LOL The first girl works 4 hours a day..She don't need a day off
This shopping center seems so empty.
Thanks for watching! 😊
Here in a tier A city in the USA, I make around P35k daily, still living paycheck to paycheck. It's all relative
Thanks for watching! 😊
Single?
You are just bad with your finances. It's not all relative.
Salaries in Philippines are based on government law …
in coron (palawan) the tuks requires 200pesos for a 1.5km ride when you arrive from the port, so they make half of the daily wage of those philippinos of this video.... those tuks from coron are a bunch of thieves
No

Not fair

I will come to the Philippines to marry a modest girl.
Thanks for watching! 😊
They don't get paid by the hour?
No, they do not.
It's far from fair salary.
They cant plan for future with that salary. Can't save anything.
There boss is embarrassing the pH workers.

Me ❤ filipinas..
I love a girl in a skirt ! Too many wear jeans in a hot humid climate
the tuktuk thieves make 300pesos from a innocent tourist in 20 minutes
So I think I overpaid my Filipina girlfriend who asked me 10k pesos to spend the night with me lol. Gotta love the Philippines
Do your homework and work out what things cost
Watching these videos reminds me why they think foreigners are wealthy.
Sharyn let’s meet
Wow 🎉 wow 👌.. i just spent 25$ USD on sushi 🍣.. i need to move there.. after i make millions and retire 😊
Thanks for watching, Johnny! 😊
