After the 5:0 against the Rangers, I was surprised by the “fall” in the away games. The team seemed stable and I think it's a bit “off” at the moment, does anyone have any idea why?
The NHL has several strong teams with losing records, and as the season progresses, teams generally start to play better together. I believe the Devils may have become complacent after finishing with a solid W/L record before the holidays. Following the break, that mindset seemed to linger, and heading into a tough West Coast road trip is not the ideal way to start the second half of the season. I also think they lost some of that grit mentality during the holiday break because there performance all around took a dive at the start of the west coast road trip.

Hey Timo wanna start scoring anytime soon?
LGD.
That’s tough as a coach and a dad to meet all the demands and needs. He sounds like a great person. Glad we have him 😊 LDG’s! 🏒🇺🇸
