Zac Oyama: funnier than the Yellow M&M, funnier than Kevin Hart, funnier than Larry the Cable Guy. Looks like Lou's hierarchy of comedy isn't so infallible after all
Alternatively, I assume from decades of M&Ms commercials, where Yellow is depicted as a far from bright loveable dolt, that Zac would be portraying the same ;)
Also the glass tapping scene is the funniest bit of that episode. I kept rewatching it. Everyone noticing Zac's miming and falling into fits of laughter was amazing
Lou’s near-death laughter is of course great, but I also love how Matt *immediately* gives up the ghost on his narration and goes into hysterics the moment he clocks what Zac is doing out of the corner of his eye.
You know Zac is funny when he can make Matthew Mercer, someone who spends every Thursday at a table with Sam "Bolo" Riegel and Laura "The Pervert" Bailey, stop dming because the bit is too good to talk over it
Matt hasn't been ready for any of the chaos the d20 cast brings and I think it's beautiful, he's now DMed most of them but I still wildly need to see Matt DMing for Ally
See I dont get this. People keep on overhyping and chanting about Matt aint ready for this and he aint ready for that and Lou this, Zac that. Emily will break him yadayada....and...sure. They are different breed from what Critical role cast tends to be, but opposite applies and Matt is someone who has done and enjoyed doing so for years now. He is having a blast obviously and is matching the chaotic energy on every turn. These people are masters of improv storytelling and having a good time and it shows. It feels like people are making comparisons and competitions between them for sake of doing so alone.
@@horttanainen2466 i def didnt mean my comment in a negative way, I'm a big enjoyer of both CR and D20 and I love the crossovers, it's a different kind of chaos and it's one that's fun to watch!
Honestly in typical Zac fashion one of my favourite jokes from this is when he introduces Deli with "Hey, everybody!" and, when told to be more formal, cuts it just "Everybody!" to absolute silence at the table
TBH to me he surpassed the yellow m&m with the "I haven't always been a firefighter line" in UC1 and "You'll never be half the boat my van is" in FHSY. The way this man makes normal conversations hilarious is *chefs kiss*

Zac was so good in this season. I described it to someone as the 3rd improve rule. There's "yes, and" "no, but" and "...dude, come on" nearly all of the best bits, with "you lied" sandwiched in there, were Collin moments to me.
Just realized Lou potentially throws Zac a bone by calling his mother "chieftess" in that little pause, just in case Zac forgot the title ❤ We love to see it

Imagine a very formal feudal event where noble after noble is presented by an important servant with their full name and titles, and then a meat lands delegation arrives and a kinda sloppy dirty chesse mercenary does a bad wrestling intro for them.
I love how deeply entrenched in this fandom you have to be to understand this video title
I mean I saw one clip where Lou said he considers the yellow M&M the funniest man alive, now I'm seeing this one. So about 2 videos deep?
Zac Oyama: funnier than the Yellow M&M, funnier than Kevin Hart, funnier than Larry the Cable Guy. Looks like Lou's hierarchy of comedy isn't so infallible after all

Someday Zac will succeed and make Lou laugh so hard it will kill him
And then Zac can become the new Mr. Peanut.
Also the glass tapping scene is the funniest bit of that episode. I kept rewatching it. Everyone noticing Zac's miming and falling into fits of laughter was amazing
The editors putting in the sound of tapping glass tho 😂😂😂

This is the best part. He goes from DM mode to uncontrollable laughter in a split second.

*_it is canonically possible in this universe that the yellow m&m is the funniest man alive. They could meet him. The famous bard._*
They say Zac is a master of restraint but he also knows how to escalate a bit to side-splitting levels 😂
Lou breaking so hard felt like a 1 2 combo to me.
The window tapping sound effects, plus the decision to knock with both fists simultaneously, make this an all time great D20 bit.
TBH to me he surpassed the yellow m&m with the "I haven't always been a firefighter line" in UC1 and "You'll never be half the boat my van is" in FHSY. The way this man makes normal conversations hilarious is *chefs kiss*
Who could forget such classics like “my name is Norman ‘Skip’ Takamori”
“I’d kill anyone for you, okay.” This is the best.

When Lou laughs, u know it’s gonna be a good time
Certainly could not figure out Colin's whole theme, he might have honestly just been some random lost guy that Deli found on the road
It's Lou damn near harking up a lung laughing in the end which does it for me. Love when that reaction happens in people.
