Extraordinary arrangement and performance of the song we sang every year at Christmas (some 50 years ago!) with the John F. Kennedy High School Choir, Plainview New York under the baton of our inimitable conductor, Ronald Cohen.

I’m always fascinated with how your audio team approaches mixing your voices. It almost sounds like you apply reverb at varying levels to each singer, for instance the soloist gets considerably more than say the bass or the soprano. Is that an individual singer preference or do you make those decisions on the production level? Beautiful arrangement, as always. Gives me chills, whatever it is you’re doing.
Personally, I feel that this is over arranged. The lead voice (beautiful) is almost lost in the noise of the accompaniment. Would have been interesting to hear the verses over the style of the voices used at the end.
