- Bride of Pinbot reincarnated by the team at Dutch Pinball. This has made a great game awesome. The quality of the sound, addition of the colour dot matrix along with all the rule changes have completely transformed the game. I like the original BOP but now its on steroids!

I like the original much better as the whole theme was to make the robot human and this one just feels like any new game with someone talking. In the original game when you got her ready to turn into a human and you heard say I feel strange and then the whole game turns dark and you hear that heartbeat start and that Voice start singing gives you that feeling of accomplishment.
im guessing that you havent played 2.0 or seen the metaphorsis on this version. check out the DP videos if you havent.

No, he's completely right. I can't deny the ruleset is an improvement, but the soul is gone. except maybe for the metamorphosis itself, all the sensuality seems to be stripped out. Move Your Shuttle did get me to chuckle, but that's about it.
The origional was just so full of so much tension - trying to assemble and activate the robot. The speech worked well too; along with the comedic stuff like 'I can talk' and the reply 'Oh no!' from Pinbot. This just doesn't have that suspense for me and I'd much rather have the origional.
Music is so much better in the original version.
I agree. I find the original music so catchy. It's what I remembered about the machine when I had the pleasure of playing it at a game exhibition! One day, I want to play it again. I hope I might find one somewhere, or maybe that game exhibition will come back! I'd love nothing more than to see that machine once again after recently learning so much about it!
Bride is one of my favorites, and this feels wrong.
I agree but if you press the left flipper button when you start a game it plays the original (and best) game.

I have the original BOP and I think I prefer it compared to this version, although the Dutch Pinball version also looks great.

That's a very interesting machine. I hope that eventually makes it into the Pinball Arcade. The original currently is, but that really looked like it would be a lot of fun to play.

I know this video is old, but your miniplayfield gate switches don't seem to register (especially the top left enter gate). The ball goes into the mini playfield when the shuttle ramp is shot but no locks are lit; and then progress is (should be) made towards the Videomode by spelling PIN*BOT.
As you noted, the sound and visuals are amazing. Very nice transformation and very nice video as always.
love the 2.0 decals !!! now you need the matching translite ! noticed you have a switch not registering to the mini playfield, and the head is turning the incorrect direction during multiball at the end of the video. shouldnt end on the first face.

There's only 3 wpc alpha numerical machines ever made. For some reason they all look exactly like system 11s. The original one of this looks exactly like a system 11b machine

And there are plenty of them still out there. I like the variation of experience.
You can switch between the original game ROM and the 2.0 with this conversion, so you have the best of both worlds. The DMD even switches over to simulate the old alpha-numeric display when the machine is in "classic" mode, which I thought was a nice touch.
it looks good and all but its just too much the sound is weird but the art looks nice but original looks better tho
