I just did this on a 1997 3.3, and you do not have to take the wheel off, just roll up on ramps, take off the splash guard, loosen tension on belt, take belt off alternator pulley for slack, stick a long screwdriver in the water pump pulley, loosen the 3 bolts, remove pulley. Here's the MOST IMPORTANT PART: use lots of Liquid Wrench penetrant and work the bolts on the water pump back and forth (in and out). Even doing this I still busted off the top bolt. Luckily when I bolted it back up with the other 4 bolts, it didn't leak (so far!!!). Also I removed the lower radiator hose from the water pump side prior to removing the water pump, so I didn't have any water come out when I pulled the pump. Thanks for the video!
You should see what it's like replacing the water pump on a 94 voyager with a 3.0 Mitsubishi...it's a 2 piece water pump that goes back into the engine and has to slip over a water pipe underneath the intake manifold...it's a pain let me tell ya.
