Hare Krishna Guruji Danvat Pranam Guruji could you benevolently advise as to on what basis are the 9 planets assigned the dasha periods as per Vimshottari Dasha system. I mean why Sun is assigned a dasha period of 6 years only, why not 5 years or 7 years or any other period. Why is moon assigned a dasha period of 10 years why not 9 years or 11 years or any other period. What I want to inquire is that is there any astrological / mathematical logic pertaining to the angular velocity of the planets, or is there any correlation with the orbital periods of various planets, or is there any principle stated in the Brihad Parashar Hora Shastra, Jataka Parijat, Phaldeepika, Saravalli etc . Is there anything in the Shastras sir or its just like that, Sun. - 6 Years Moon. - 10 Years Mars. - 7 Years Mercury. - 17 Years Jupiter. -16 Years Venus. - 20 Years Saturn. - 19 Years Rahu - 18 Years Ketu. - 7 Years Dear sir, I really want to excel in this subject with your expert advise, good wishes and blessings. Kindly advise Best Regards Tushar Sharma
If only 1 pada of Nakshatra falls in a rashi, will I prorate the Vimshottri period to 1 pada for calculation so e.g. if its U.Phalguni nakshatra 1st pada in Leo, will I take Sun's Vimshottri of 6yr and divide it into 4 parts so only 1.5yrs of Sun falls in U.Phalguni in Leo? and then calculate the Elapsed and Balance based on that?
Different people say different things for example I was taught that like kalpurush kundli starts with Mars, even dashas start with mars. All i learnt is to accept everything and rely on my intuition 😊
Excellent teaching.
