My father was a Keeper and our cousins the Barrs were station there in the late 50,s early 60,s . I visited it a few years ago but didnt stay . Maybe will in the future but Im 72 so better get cracking . Nice review .well done to you both !
I’ve stayed there 3 times. Never fails to amaze! Watching the sunrise over Lough Swilly is amazing… as the dolphins play and swim by. It’s just class! Also worth going out during the night to just sit under the lighthouse with the waves crashing as the light beams out over the water…. ❤
