What type of fuel sender are you using? Will you have a significant variation in fuel level between ground position and in flight? It could be a bit of an annoyance if you don’t accurately know your fuel level prior to flight especially when you have partial fuel.

Hi John, It's the MGL capacitive fuel level sensor. You are absolutely right about the difference in level reading 'on ground' as opposed to 'in flight' on a tail dragger. I have positioned my sensor directly over the fuel outlet so that it gives me an accurate reading whilst in level flight. On ground its easy to open the fuel filler and have a look or possibly use a dip stick 🙂

Your tail wheel problem reminded me of a similar tail wheel problem on a Onex. You may want to watch this video and his follow up videos. He explains things very thoroughly and could save you some problems later on.

Yes I have already watched this and it's quite interesting. I think his problem was down to poor initial construction of the rudder assembly and possibly aggravated by a non-standard push rod. We will have to wait and see how well the replacement push rod fits from Sonex. After seeing his video I will certainly be checking the bottom of the rudder as part of my pre-flight walk round routine 😊
