    Wow, the place has changed a lot since last time I visited in the 80's. Chris.

      I think the customer service and after-sales had to change according to what I heard. There’s a lot of other dealers that could learn this too 😉🚐 Trev

    Crikey, fancy pants facilities - just missing “the Brownhills Arms” pub 🍻🤣

    Hi Trev and Sue, enjoyed the look around Brownhills, we love going to have a look around the vans. We’ve even been for a dip in the pool. Glad you enjoyed your day there x

      It was quite an experience at Brownhills. There is still limited stock but everywhere is the same. The facilities are outstanding I must say 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev

    Guy's, Brownhills is a great place for a pit stop if you're heading up the A1. We treat it similar to the motorway services and an overnight stop. you're always made welcome and the sales team tend to leave you alone if you want to have a mooch around.

      We liked the way the team greeted us and allowed us to freely look around the vans. We were offered information and were able to approach Brownhills team with questions. The vans were extremely well presented and we came away with very good first impressions. Kevin was given permission to show us around the Club facilities which we thought we far better than anything we had seen elsewhere 😃🚐 Trev

    Nice review of the Rapido V68 - we liked it so much we ordered one at the NEC show in February but it’s 12+ months wait hence prices high! 😮

      We enjoyed looking at the Rapido. Kev and Tracey in this video have been waiting since September 2021 and have been given a date of November 2022 (14 months) which seems crazy doesn’t it 🤷🏼‍♂️ Thanks for watching 🚐 Trev

    Nice to have a look around their yard Trev. I was thinking of venturing up myself. You briefly showed a Bessacarr that I have been looking at on their website! One question though with those swing wall washrooms. Can you do that when you are in it? You have showed 3 or 4 of those in the last couple of videos and always been outside. Would be annoying if you have to step outside to swing the wall across. Cheers, Martin

    • @PoshcatsCamping
      @PoshcatsCamping  2 года назад +1

      Yes Martin in most cases the only way to swing the wall is from outside the washroom. The smaller vans require you to use the van as a changing room rather than dressing in the washroom as there simply not enough space. 😃 Trev

      @@PoshcatsCamping Interesting, and possibly annoying, but I guess there are always compromises. Thanks for that Trev.

      Great question, I had always wondered!!
      The main drawback with shower curtains is 'cling', but actually with some sewn elastic loops and a couple of stainless hooks (mounted a tidy bit higher to slope towards the curtain) , this is solved quite easily. I like the swing walls though, maybe the next stage is a two part swing wall, that allows your dry cloths to rest on top of the loo, and so you can also get changed in there!
      A bathroom that can be used as a changing room is very very useful in a PVC, the Globescout is an example of that size (but no swing wall!)!

    • @BentleyOnTour
      @BentleyOnTour 2 года назад +1

      @@G-ra-ha-m Some good points there. I have only had one motorhome and, being tall, the washroom was probably the most important factor. My washroom is enormous!

    • @G-ra-ha-m
      @G-ra-ha-m 2 года назад +1

      @@BentleyOnTour Cheers! Yes I had issues with height of some showers, they seemed to be designed for shorter people!
      I view a camper/motorhome as a small hotel room, so I don't need much 'living space', but somewhere to cook and a bathroom is top of the list!

    Great tour thanks.. I can't get over the pricing differences from Europe and the US. One might expect the European models to be considerably more expensive. Just the opposite from what I am seeing in your videos and others. Thanks for sharing.
    Why do you think this is the case?

    • @PoshcatsCamping
      @PoshcatsCamping  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching and your comments. We have been looking at footage from the Tampa show and it’s fascinating to see the differences between the countries offerings 😃🚐 Trev

    • @G-ra-ha-m
      @G-ra-ha-m 2 года назад +1

      With normal market forces, Europe would be more expensive, but the US Govt. Inc (A DUNS registered corporation BTW, that has no lawful right to tell you what to do), forbids personal imports unless they are very old, so there's no competition with(in) the US, a market that appears to be geared towards the huge RVs.

    Hi Trev. At 1.19mins into your video I spot that cupholder inset into the table top..!! Now do they sell them in the accessory shop.? I have looked everywhere for them and cannot find them. ?

    • @PoshcatsCamping
      @PoshcatsCamping  2 года назад

      I think there are some available on Amazon. I searched for "motorhome table cup holder" and some came up in the search, stainless steel or plastic. I have not seen them in the accessory shops but you may find that the dealers can source these in their parts departments. I hope that helps :) Trev

    Windows on the rear doors when you have longitudinal beds are a bad idea. When sleeping at night that’s were your head and pillow has to go, and trying to avoid damaging the blind can be difficult. Also in winter it gets very cold near windows.

    • @PoshcatsCamping
      @PoshcatsCamping  11 месяцев назад

      Yes condensation is also a problem in van conversions if the right conditions have not been met. Even with insulation the barn doors can be a nightmare when it’s windy and the glazing absolutely needs to be replaced with double glazed Perspex units in our opinion. Then ventilation is another consideration. The list goes on 🙂 You make great points and as we always camp in winter, we totally agree with you 😃👍🏻 Trev n Sue

      @@PoshcatsCamping I am just about to take delivery of a Rapido V68 after waiting over two years.
      One of the many things that drew me to it was the lack of windows and overhead lockers on the rear door, preventing you from sitting up in bed. I have bought insulation and noise reduction foam for the rear door, I will fit it asap. Thanks for the video.

    Interesting washrooms with that magic door. The shower does look sort of small though. Good tours. That campground looked rather posh😁

    • @PoshcatsCamping
      @PoshcatsCamping  2 года назад +1

      It’s a great little stop-over if you need it and seems very functional. The pool it a bit unusual but certainly seems popular. The magic door washrooms are catching on but the space is very limited in the little vans. I have to breathe in every time I go in our washroom 🤣🚐 Trev
