I’ve been listening to Dream Theater since Images and Words was released in 1992. I’ve spent hundreds and hundreds of hours listening to John Petrucci’s work with DT, LTE, etc. I’ve seen Dream Theater nine times in concert, and I’ve got to say Sung-Hyun’s tone and phrasing are the closest I’ve heard to Petrucci. Absolutely incredible how effortlessly he skips around the fretboard.

I find myself coming back to this over and over. Still my favorite cover on RUclips. Band hub has opened up a whole new world for musicians, and I love seeing all these fantastic collaborations. But rarely does the overall performance meet the original as perfectly as yours does.

The more I listen to this cover the more I prefer this over the original, especially the vocals and drums. Although the original is still amazing it sounds sterile compared to this cover. Amazing job to the vocalists and drummer for adding life to this version. Please make this available on iTunes or somewhere

Hardcore DT fans tend to dislike the album because they don't understand its a huge "andrew-loyd-webberish" theatrical play, and they compare it with the other albums. If only DT had guest singers singing the diferent parts, i'm quite sure the album would receive more appreciation
@@hugofonseca5320 I’m a hardcore fan, going back to ‘92. I’ve seen DR in concert 10 times, the first time being the Awake Tour with Fates Warning in 1994. And I think The Astonishing is incredible. But then again, I have incredibly diverse tastes, from prog rock and metal to AOR, blues, classical, jazz, fusion, speed metal, 80s pop, hip hop, r&b and rap. The only genre I really don’t like is country.

This was so great -- the audio and the video combined that I was experiencing tears of joy, amazement, and hope. A lot of hope, ya'll. So much needed hope!

I am 53 years old. I have been watching dt covers for years. As far. As a whome band cover with vocals this is my favorite. This really kicks ass. Been watching this young man on guitar for a while, and would like to see many more tunes from all of you. Vocals rock. !!
