Trust me the bike is great. Trolling an Indian startup brand just because it is not affordable to them doesn't mean the product is bad. Yes it has a top speed limit but the ballastic mode is really rocket and nothing like any 250cc. An indian brand is launching a premium bike. We should be proud.

Ultraviolette's premium racing bikes are great, but it would be a great addition to their lineup if they could offer a more accessible, casual series for younger riders. Their innovations could make these bikes very popular among middle class youths and Indian market.
Really wish they will do some downgrading of the equipment and performance to create another version with a somewhat affordable price point in the near future. Not everybody needs this level of performance and tech, but they would surely want a long range. Also, every company needs a cash cow in the long run. Those are the products which actually help the company sustain and grow itself over the years.

Same thing happened with KTM and they are thriving now because of their partnership with Bajaj. Tesla started with model X, but model 3 is their bread and butter. No disrespect, but the customer base for the top models is usually very small. It's the mass market product which is again different for each brand, that really fills their coffers.

Very hard to see on road. Im from banglore . Hometown is in Kerala. Have a good eye scan of vehicles . This is something thats yet to kick off in the right momentum here in India. However it’s a great candidate for the international markets. But have to wait and see what exactly is their plans. Is the first season geared developing all tech through f77 to later bring out more models etc. Dont know . But as far as the company is concerned it ain’t making peanuts from selling these

GT650 - assuming best mileage of 25kmpl. Fuel cost 100rs. To drive 300kms would need around 1200rs of petrol. Meanwhile UV F77 - 10.1KWH battery needs 10.1 units of electricity to charge. So 70rs for 300 kms of travel. Would someone pay GT650 level price of a bike where the fuel cost is almost close to negligible?

GT650 - assuming best mileage of 25kmpl. Fuel cost 100rs. To drive 300kms would need around 1200rs of petrol.
Meanwhile UV F77 - 10.1KWH battery needs 10.1 units of electricity to charge. So 70rs for 300 kms of travel.
Would someone pay GT650 level price of a bike where the fuel cost is almost close to negligible?

ICE have a soul and you need to be in tune with them to drive them, especially in these older engines where you need to learn the rythm of the every year shift, every rev, and need to become one with the car.
It's evident you are not a real car and/or bike enthusiast and have never driven/ ridden a real engine. No real man would choose this toy over a ICE

I have owned plenty of ICE two wheelers (RE Thunderbird, Apache 200) and a couple of 4 wheelers ( MS800, i10) over the past 9 years and I am happy to own an EV (Ather 450X) as well. i dont see the problem when EVs serve a general purpose of quick, fuss-free transportation to the office or grocery shopping. I dont need to be an "enthusiast" to be doing those. Do I?
I see all these vehicles as different tools that serve different purposes.
The Thunderbird for long rides, The Apache for long city rides, The Ather for short rides, the cars for carrying more people/ commuting even longer distances in comfort.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say. I love both gear shifting and easy EV usage. All I ask is stop having a superiority complex over EVs.
