- This tree is full of indented Polish glass balls. There are a few that are not Polish, but most of them are. The foil reflectors on the C6 lights are also from the 1950s, as well as the twinkling lights with transformers.
thank you for sharing a trip back in time!
💖🎄💖 Absolutely Magical....The display of all the ornaments are just... Gorgeous.💖🎄💖
Beautiful tree . I am about to purchase some bubble lights and tinsel icicles 🥶
The bubble lights, the reflectors, the shiny brite ornaments and the icicles on the tree are absolute perfection. I could almost smell the tree.
I was born in 1957, and grew up with many of these. My favorites were the bubble lights. Also, I loved the translucent colored balls with stripes.
I remember the glass baubles from my childhood and also in the 80s when I was reading my family. They didn't last long.😁
I have this exact type tree every year using ornaments from when I was a child, real lead tinsel and those crazy reflectors we used to put on the lights too! I spent years doing theme trees and was always feeling un fulfilled until I saw a50's tree in out local store. That is all I have had since, including my original childhood nativity set.
Yes same here...all the new ornaments and stuff, as pretty as they may be, doesnt make me feel that Christmassy feeling like when i was a kid.I have my one special box of old ornaments i inherited from my Mom(she passed at 48) and those are my most precious of all. I use garland as well. I love tinsel which to me makes the tree, but i have cats and a dog and Im afraid theyll eat it and get sick...I also have my Moms original Nativity
Linda Ross Hi Linda we must be very close in age , all these ornaments are exsacly just like the ones I grew up with every year in my childhood, so amazing and beautiful! God bless you Linda and your family in these uncertain times !
One of the prettiest trees I have ever seen. I loved watching, many thanks.
Bubble light, indent ornaments, reflectors, tinsel, what’s not to love? So beautiful!
i love it...i saw many ornaments that you have that i also have.. i used to have over 500 of them but one year my tree fell over and about 80% of them broke along with my heart...
OMG! That is sad!
I recognized many as well from my childhood. My dad gave me the antique ornaments and my ex destroyed most in a violent rage. He was abusive and I got out! I still have a few of those precious ornaments. This was a nice video to see!
Love those Polish indents! So many beautiful and radiant colors and shapes!
Gorgeous ornaments, and although I enjoyed hearing your kitty, Christmas music would have made this a perfect video. I have never seen the cutout merry Christmas light reflectors before. Beautiful! I love all your decorations! Thank you for sharing. God bless you and Merry Christmas!
WOW! So Beautiful!
Beautiful. And the snow falling outside couldn’t be more appropriate. This brings back many memories - thanks so much for sharing.
I remember them Christmas tree stuff I was born in the 50s I remember growing up looking at them
Love it! Just as I recall as a child. This is what a Christmas tree and decorations are all about. I love the vintage ornaments and lights, and still use them to this day. The heck with the led's!
I am of Czech/German descent, this is what I saw as a child while eating pork sauerkraut and potato dumplings...
Wow! Your flair for the nostalgic 1950s Christmas tree and the entire room, is truly an awesome work of art! Thank you for inspiring me this year!
Thank you so much for this video! Definitely my Favorite! I just love the indents! They are all so beautiful! To me this is Nostalgia 💯! Not gonna lie I'm envious in a good way!
So pretty! Took me back to my childhood days. I’m doing my tree in this theme this year.
I use to stay up at night and watch the tree lights twinkle.... My mom decorated inside and out reindeers slides a lifted up snow man...ans when it snowed it was so magical looking ...how I miss those days.. my hear t aches at holidays ....
I have bought almost everything I remember from Christmas in my childhood at antique stores, flea markets, etc., but it could never 100% bring back the feeling of waking up Christmas morning to a paradise of decorations as a child.
Absolutely love your fabulous display.
Wow!!! Absolutely Beautiful!!!
Just Lovely! Thank you for sharing your beautiful collection! I even got teary eyed when the bottle brush music box played Jingle Bells!
Glad you enjoyed the music box. Most of the bottle brush trees and figures on that table are motion music boxes.
Stunning tree. It's August but, I've been looking through RUclips for inspiration for this years Christmas decor. This is it! The colors, the reflectors, the sparkle and shine all brought me back to my childhood. Gorgeous!!
Beautiful Christmas trees and decorations; you have quite the collection! Love the leaded icicles, we had them on our tree back in the day. Mom would tell us to put on one strand at a time, but we would throw on a handful. Hopefully, your kitty only looks but doesn't touch, LOL! TFS.
I put them on one at a time as well.
I have salvaged my Nan's Ornaments, they are like the indented ones. So beautiful!!
So beautiful - my favorite type of Christmas tree. All old glass ornaments. I heard kitty meowing in the background. Hope the trees aren't too much temptation for him/her!
Lovely!
OMG these trees are gorgeous, I love everything !!!!!
I'm back again because I noticed a kind of light that I've been looking for.
It's that small, tubular, screw-in type twinkle light.
The last time I saw this kind of light, was about 1960 at a neighbor's house.
I've not seen them since! (I was 10 or 11, and we had the usual C7 type).
Anyway, a beautiful tree that shows lots of love.
OH MY GOODNESS, there are not any words to describe how beautiful this is.!!!!!!!
Man, I really dig the indented ornaments and the reflectors for the lights. My grandparents had all of that stuff. Thanks!!
Such a beautiful collection!
Love your ornaments! Indents are my favorite!
So glad you are enjoying this.
Absolutely beautiful.I love the second tree🎄🎅
The second tree is full of glass made during WWII when silvering was not permitted, since the metal was needed for the war.
Awesome beauty. I just love it.
OH MY GOD! We used to have these ornaments too (yes, many were Polish, believe it or not!). We had the indented ornaments, the real tree, the reflectors and LARGE bulbs that randomly twinkle. HEAVEN!
The twinkle bulbs this video are not the large ones. They work on a transformer, and this set was made in the 1950s.
Very beautiful. Thank you.
So pretty!
It’s so pretty.
I always loved the embedded ones!
So gorgeous I love Christmas time
So pretty and nostalgic
These Christmas ornaments are so beautiful and pristine. I am a vintage girl at heart! I also collect everything xmas. You have a very Lovely collection!
Thank you. I've been collecting Polish glass balls since 1993 when I graduated from college.
i love the star on the top on that tree.
I'll have to look for the box and find out the brand name. It was most likely made in the 1950s.
I'm a Christmas baby🎉this is Outstanding ❤
Hey' I still have bubble lights, refectors ,and lead tinsel that I put on the tree.
This is so incredibly beautiful! What a great collection! Where did you find the majority of your ornaments?
I bought most of these at antique stores. I bought some at the Golden Glow of Christmas Past conventions.
@@Christmasmemories1 i love the star on top of the tree.
We had glass bulbs, Bubble lights, angle topper and the rest of our Christmas items from the 50's and had a fire in the 60's and loss everything. I miss all of our old Christmas decorations. So sad.
They used to show 8 different Christmas trees from different decades from 1930s to 2000s at the Henry Ford Museum years ago in Dearborn Michigan. What ever happened to this exhibit?
very beautiful. thank you
I collect vintage ornaments and about half of my collection are indents. I see many of the same ones on your tree that I have in my collection.
Very nice tree Molto bello complimenti
My mother loved the reflectors on the lights.
Music from the YT peanut gallery and stabilizing would help this clip, but really, it's pretty. Of course I remember ornaments of many types as a girl born in the '50s in the USA. Some were extremely dangerous, such as these oil "candles" for the tree, but they were trippy!
Me encanta! Yo quiero mi árbol así por siempre
Lovely, I only have one original ornament left from 1960, Polish made...but brings back memories
My family tree was down to a small handful when I was in college, and right after I graduated I started hitting flea markets trying to find every one from my childhood, which I eventually did.

Amazing, precioso todo, las decoraciones, las luces, eso es darle color al hogar , felicidades
wow , that is so beautiful
Thank you!
Amazing :)
in this same era we had an original set of "Noma" Bubble lights and too bad we didn't keep it as it is probably worth a fortune today!!
They don't seem to make indented balls anymore, but are really beautiful.
Gorgeous
This is how it’s done. ❤
Donde las consigo para mi es un regalo me encantan esas bambalinas huecas las incorporaría a lo novedoso y actual del momento gracias por mostrarlas. Que bonitos recuerdos
Thx so much!
You had a movie camera with sound? Amazing
you never see these kinds of baubles anymore, the ones with the dent in them. do they still make them?
we have several, but many of them are damaged or fragile so we dont use them often. (cant bring myself to throw away even the cracked ones... too many magic memories...)
I love it but not so much the flashing lights... but I love it
Gorgeous ornaments! 😍 I just Posted a yt video of my aluminum Christmas tree. I one day home to have a collection of ornaments like yours. 💚❤️
Tree by the way I like the ornaments from the 1950s that looks very nice and the lights to got a question what's the name of the cat that I heard me out in the video
That was either Smokey or Carmen.
Me im rescue some olf vintage christmas decoration and im have many in my collection
Bello
For a true 1950s tree....lead tinsel. My mother used to use several boxes of lead tinsel.
LOOKS LIKE THE TREES MY MOTHER WOULD PUT UP SAME ORNAMENTS AND TINSIL, OLY WE HAS BUBBLE LIGHTS AND THOSE BIG DULL BULBS NICE AND HOT LOL.
where can i buy these ?? i am looking on ebay all the time, the real ones are very expensive, are they remaking them ??
No, they aren't remaking them, and even if they did, they wouldn't be like these!
I bought most of these at antique stores since 1993. Ebay prices are much too high for these, and they are pretty easy to find at antique stores. The reproductions are not a match for the old ones, so I only buy the vintage ones.
Treasure trove.
SORRY I USE ALL REFLECTORS ON C7'S AND WE DO C9'S OUTSIDE AROUND DOOR
The ornaments are gorgeous but you stayed in one spot too long you should have pulled back and taking a picture of the whole tree it begin to be a little boring.
You are rich wow
What is the constant noise??? This needs music or something.
That is the sound of the camera. I think the noise is caused by it constantly refocusing as I move around. You have to be careful using music because the video could be taken down from youtube for copyright issues.
If you want to hear some with music I recorded multitracks of my voice and put them on my other channel, thelonearranger1. Here is a playlist of my multitracks. ruclips.net/video/BR8Qdg895bM/видео.html
Christmasmemories1: ..... there are plenty of generic, instrumental Christmas songs which pose no copyright infringements that you can use.
Needs music, silly

To bad No Music Do it again with music to be perfect. Play something.......
I posted a number of them with my own multitrack recordings on my other channel, thelonearranger1. Here is a playlist of my multitrack recordings. ruclips.net/video/BR8Qdg895bM/видео.html
Lovely!
