I understand you 100%! Last week I also chose this place for a photo! gray buildings, dense buildings, almost no billboards, people dress in pure colors, red buses and yellow scaffolding posts - all this falls on the buildings like paint on the ground! It is simply impossible not to shoot anything interesting in this place. and you did a great job with those bars at the turnstiles and with the columns!
Thanks Faizal, that was a lot of fun. Thank you for saying, "I got a few images that I liked, today.". I used to get frustrated if I only liked 4/30 images that I took: but you shot all day. 😊. I liked how you do not rely on editing, but prefer to get it right in camera. Thanks, cheers.
That was a great video Faisal. We are a couple of amateur travel youTubers who are absolutely OCD ish when it comes to frames/compositions. There have been many situations when we have felt like we aren’t doing a good job or we aren’t able to find anything interesting. And a lot times we are unsure if its just us lacking skills or if the place itself lacks natural frames. We really loved this video because of how raw it was in terms of the process. Like when you said the bit about warm up, not finding anything for 20 mins and why rush the process. This combined with the “nervous street photographer” video you made sometime back are the perfect practical guides for some like us. Love from India. ❤❤❤
You didn't get off at the wrong stop, just took the wrong exit from the station! When I first moved to London, I did the exact same thing, and shared the exact same moment of confusion! Lovely video.
super helpful! Faizal i'd love to see the thought process in culling photos...when you take multiple shots of the same or similar subject...why choose that final one? your stuff has helped me a ton brother. keep it up!
The guy in the image you edited was wearing a jacket which had a bright right color on the inside aswell. That would have been something to capture that.
Thanks for an informative & educational video, Faisal. My winter project (if I have the patience) is to learn how to use Capture One for my XT-3 & XE-4. I have the 35 f2 and the recently released 23 1.4. Thanks
Dude how did you get that beautiful lighting for the interior shot?! Just natural??? Also, Bank is such a great name. Go to Bank, work at Bank, make some Bank
That was a great video. I have been inspired to get back into photography in the last few weeks. I have lightroom is it worth switching to Capture One?
Hey Faizal, love your channel. I’ve been learning a ton and really appreciate it. With this workflow, do you go direct from the camera to the Portable SSD, and then to your computer?
Question: Are you using the Sessions method rather than Catalogue? I really need to move up from the free version of C1. Do you do the monthly subscription model or the one time payment?
what do you use to edit your photos also i just got into photography i got a fujifilm x20 any setting advice or things to get for a more comfortable shooting experience
Can anyone tell me what is that rectangular "protector" on the lense? I´ve seen it in several videos, but I have no idea what is for. Thanks in advance!
Was a great video mate but kind of disappointed because I was expecting more in-depth stuff like how you export your pictures, the way you organize your files and stuff like that. :( was nice to share though 👍
great video! side question, does the squarehood lens hood really protect against sun light and rain droplet since i is open in one of the upper corners? can you u rotate the open corner downward?
I love u video so much ..But my english is not so good right now. could u add some subtitles, that's pretty useful for me,So I was able to learn not only photography techniques, but also English。 But that's request increases your workload,I'm depply apologize and a lot of thanx to u. otherway It's okay if you don't want to❤

Thanks for your content. You bring clarity and calm to the subject and your videos and sound are great as is the background music.
4:51 hahaha I do this all the time. Now I’m going to think of this phrase while I spin 😂.
It's so cool to see you shooting the areas I shoot every week. Bank being my favourite spot in London for sure. Great video mate.

Really loved this kind of insights into your street photography process. I would be happy to see more. Keep up the good work!

In total agreement - his videos are great insight into the process and especially the struggle
ayyy hope you enjoyed London! there's so many amazing spots & you can always find something to take your fancy!
Thanks for sharing! I hope you do backups and don't keep everything in a single copy on that little drive ;)
Twirling the color wheel was a great tip! Seems obvious but I never thought about doing it, very helpful to gauge where to take the photo
Great video Faizal, thanks for sharing your workflow with us.
You didn't get off at the wrong stop, just took the wrong exit from the station! When I first moved to London, I did the exact same thing, and shared the exact same moment of confusion! Lovely video.
It would be good to hear how you make selects.
Do you pick one image out of a group or multiple or ??
Grouping is a great feature. I cull my shots using Narrative Select since they have a great implementation of it

This was really awesome to compare how I work to a more experienced photographer, and also learn a new tool in Capture One
Such a huge fan of your videos boss
Great content. Curious about how you focus when shooting street are you zone focusing?
distracted by how fast the autofocus is, mindblown!
great video Faisal
Love your videos! What your thought on the new X-T5 for street photography?
Very insightful video as always :) Keep up the great work!

Thank you for sharing! Great job 👏
As always, quality stuff, Faizal. That final photo is stunning - so stoked you chose that one to edit.
Question: are you typically using AF-S or AF-C?
Dude how did you get that beautiful lighting for the interior shot?! Just natural???
Also, Bank is such a great name. Go to Bank, work at Bank, make some Bank
Infatuated with your videos dude 😍📷
Love your channel. Question, when you’re done your photo, do you delete the original off your SSD
the capture one spot lets gooo
Do you usually shoot in burst mode when doing street photography?
Loved this video dude! What is that little mic you’re using for A roll?
That was a great video. I have been inspired to get back into photography in the last few weeks. I have lightroom is it worth switching to Capture One?
Great stuff! If I'm not mistaken you are using the ael/afl button when you shoot? For what purpose? How do you have that button set up?
Nice vid

luv it 🤩
would you say capture one is like lightroom?
Question: Are you using the Sessions method rather than Catalogue? I really need to move up from the free version of C1. Do you do the monthly subscription model or the one time payment?
Is Capture One your main software still?
always love watching your editing process !
Really helpful. Thanks
what do you use to edit your photos also i just got into photography i got a fujifilm x20 any setting advice or things to get for a more comfortable shooting experience
what setup do you use for your POV
you did manage to choose roundabout the most awkward tube stop in London to get off lol
How come your RAF files are so saturated before the edit?, mines are washed out😅
I laughed hard at the 360 no scope reference lol
" ijust cant" 🤣🤣🤣👍
Can anyone tell me what is that rectangular "protector" on the lense? I´ve seen it in several videos, but I have no idea what is for.
Thanks in advance!
One of these days I hope I can catch you in Boston so I can buy you a coffee for how much you've helped my street photography grow
Was a great video mate but kind of disappointed because I was expecting more in-depth stuff like how you export your pictures, the way you organize your files and stuff like that. :( was nice to share though 👍
thanks for the feedback! I think I will make a whole video on the post-edit process
Awesome. Salutes, from Chile!
Awesome stuff! thanks a lot for sharing Faizal!
Do I have to wear a hat all the time if I want to do street photography?
How do you choose and find “inspiring” areas to shoot in?
You're so clean with it bro
great video!
side question, does the squarehood lens hood really protect against sun light and rain droplet since i is open in one of the upper corners? can you u rotate the open corner downward?
Anyone can take a photo, but not everyone has the "art of seeing", no matter how good the camera equipment is, the photo will be just a simple photo.
awesome! great to see ur working process 👍🏽
My dearest faizal come to dubai 😊
Thanks for another inspiring POV vid! 😁
Gajan, Faizal, who'se next :)
