Hi. I'm a photographer and watching your video today and seeing the waterfalls, I wanted to share a simple technique for creating some 'epic' waterfall photos. I know that you're nearing the end of your hike. I wish I'd shared this earlier. Anyways, Put your iPhone into Live View. Hold the camera as still as possible. You can brace it against your body or against a rock or tree. Take the picture. After taking the picture, select the photo for editing. In the upper left corner, click on where it says LIVE and then select Long Exposure. It will render the water all soft and streaky. Give it a try. Remember when you're all done to take the camera out of Live view. I think you'll be happy with the results.
Hi Gadget, I'm so glad to see you smiling again😊. That was some climb today, but the views was worth it. Don't stress over who to hike with, it will ruin your hike. Wow, less than a month left. I will really miss your videos but can't wait to see the smile on your face beside the sign on Katahdin. Be safe and happy hiking❤
Great post. It was fun to relive this section from your perspective. I finally made it back up to do Franconia Ridge a couple of days ago - - looking forward to watching your take on it.
Mel ah to see your smile like a beacon yo point out all the beautiful scenery and at the same time the difficulty of the hike. PA may have a lot of rocks but VT, NH & Maine have fricken boulders on top of more boulders. Switchback trails must be outlawed or limited to below the Mason Dixon line. I so want to go hike the AT but the last three NOBO States may be more than a challenge and doing your 17 or more plus miles a day …. Well holly smoke by gully break my ass & my thighs …. Yet I do yearn 4:43 to do it. Tell me I can do it. ❤😊 .
Seems like with the ability to text and message and meet up here and there you can hike with soap and still be part of Sass’s. And if you hike almost to the top with Soap and wait for the other ones to catch up everybody’s had a companion and the group can summit together. There are real and specific considerations with dyad, triad, etc ….when it comes communiction. Less drama is good. But at least have fun.
