To piggyback on my last comment. It really depends on what form of 'the music' you're looking for, because artists tend to have different ideas about how to best exemplify what 'music' is. Some just want the money, they're unimportant.
Halcyon, The Helix Nebula, Trioscapes (if you like jazzy), T.R.A.M (supergroup, fuckin' killer), Polyphia, Pomegranate Tiger, that's all I can think of right now close to those sounds, but I'm sure there are more.
