At this point, Revenant’s importance to the lore is lowkey meaningless. He can’t really do shit so the most we get are empty threats from him. His character was better in S4 + S5.

In season 5-7 he had a hair trigger temper and a lot of resentment from losing his source code and having to come to terms that the only reason why he is even alive is because Hammond and Loba can't stand the idea of seeing him die. If it was around that time he would be a lot more angry than usual. Now it's just weaving a web of people Loba knows and finding which one which hurt the most and who he could trust not to backstab him The battle pass also shows his opinion on Bangalore's decision to stay in the Apex Games even though her father didn't want her to become a Merc and gladiator like some lowlife thug and disgrace to the IMC uniform working for the Syndicate while her brother didn't call to raise a family and now one of the Syndicate's golden gooses after Silva took over the games
