I agree 💯 with you that a decision should wait until they are 18! We all know that young children preteens and teenagers are already confused with their sexuality and dealing with feelings that they’ve never had before and then throw in the mix of maybe thinking that they might be the opposite sex and having parents literally throwing this all over the Internet of a child at the age of 12 who isn’t even hit puberty yet talking about having this child having sex reassignment surgery is totally child abuse I agree with you there. I think the parents should be making decisions for young children like that and that yes they should be supportive but not to the point of sex reassignment surgery under the age of 18 because we all know how teenagers one day they like you the next minute I hate you one day they’re BFFs with acts in the next day they’re BFFs with why so if they can’t even make decisions on who their friends with I don’t think they should be put in a position to make such a life altering decision that they may or may not regret when they hit the age of 18 and older.
