My boys and I had to move out of our own home do to a fire in our electric box I asked God to turn this home in to a Church and help us to relocate it has been all most 3 years 5 months ago my bother put us in a motel my bother has a family of his own Father please help my boys and I don't want to move backwards father as you no this neighborhood is infested with drugs father my boys and I have come a long ways please we don't want to go backwards please help my boys are for we only have five days left we have to go back

I felt EVERY word of this!!! I'm in the mist of my storm now. Some days are harder than others. Some days, I can't get out of bed. I find myself questioning God. It feels like He left me to deal with things myself. I've shed so many tears, become depressed, & a recluse. I know that better days are coming, but sometimes it just doesn't feel like it.
Jesus is not sleeping during our storms. Jesus has a glorified body now, He doesn’t need sleep. He is enthroned. He is interceding. And He is sovereign over all circumstances that He is with us in.

Storms come in our lives to build up our character and to make us stronger. It is easy to be a Christian when you are not going through nothing, but the real substance of the man starts oozing out when he goes through the fire of life. This is what Jesus means about the statement that He will baptize us with fire. This world is like the oven, and the persecutions are like the fire of the oven. If we belong to the Lord, the fire will only purify us because we are made of gold. If we do not belong to the Lord, the fire will only burn us up because we are made of wood. So, how would God know what we are made of if we were to not go through nothing. A perfect example is Abraham. God tested his faith concerning his son Isaac. HE PASSED THE TEST WITH FLYING COLORS!!! When we are going through things we are to come out on the other side as pure gold, having no smell of fire or smoke on us. Amen.

This is one of the best sermons he has taught! It so resonated with me, particularly considering the current present times we're living in. So many of us are going through our own personal storms! Some severe more than others. Rest assured we serve a mighty and powerful God. The only God who knows and sees all things! I really hope that all will be well with you all. In Jesus' name!
I'm currently in a situation to lose my home, force closure, I still have faith in God.
Storms come in our lives to build up our character and to make us stronger. It is easy to be a Christian when you are not going through nothing, but the real substance of the man starts oozing out when he goes through the fire of life. This is what Jesus means about the statement that He will baptize us with fire. This world is like the oven, and the persecutions are like the fire of the oven. If we belong to the Lord, the fire will only purify us because we are made of gold. If we do not belong to the Lord, the fire will only burn us up because we are made of wood. So, how would God know what we are made of if we were to not go through nothing. A perfect example is Abraham. God tested his faith concerning his son Isaac. HE PASSED THE TEST WITH FLYING COLORS!!! When we are going through things we are to come out on the other side as pure gold, having no smell of fire or smoke on us. Amen.
