I'm going to try this on my next cruise. It is going to be a three week cruise but the Plus and Premium plans only include two of these upscaled dining experiences, despite the length of the trip.
Loved Sabatini's on our last cruise (Crown Princess 28 day South Pacific for our 50th anniversary) .The only problem is that there are so many great choices. My husband and I ordered the shrimp and calamari without the calamari and were given a large plate of just the fried shrimp which was delicious. It was a long meal but we didn't have anything else planned so that was ok.
Nope, we never got an explanation. No the restaurant was not full, maybe 3/4. But what was so impressive is that the dining supervisor found me in the main dining room the next evening. He was able to find me through my Ocean Medallion. We had a good 15 minute chat, he never explained why the meal took so long, but was very apologetic. Then he appeared at Crown Grille when we took him up on his offer to have a make up meal there. He also stopped us in the hallways a few times and even found us in the Buffet to chat. So while the meal was mostly good at Sabatini's, the follow-up in customer service was over and above what was expected. That will keep us coming back to Princess in the future.
Very helpful video! Thank you! Loved the side by side pictures as well.
We will be dining at Sabatini’s on the Sky Princess this evening, Nov 29th. Will update our experience.

Wow, South Pacific for 28 days! What an amazing journey that had to have been! Thanks so much for watching and have an amazing day!!
You didn’t mention it but would you happen to be Italian?
Yes
Is sabatinis open for lunch on the day of embarkation. Dont want to fight the crowdes at the buffett.
No but you can go to the Main Dining Room on embarkation day, it's much quieter.
Did you ever find out why it took so long? Is this a regular occurence for Sabatini's? Was it a full restaurant at the time?
