This was my first time brush hogging with the 1940 Farmall H and it all went well. With the Farmall H not having live hydraulics I put a PTO over running clutch on the tractor and had to shorten the brush hog PTO shafts a few inches. That's pretty much the only modification I had to do to get the King Kutter brush hog hooked up. I also need to put a shorter top link on. Didn't know which gear to brush hog in but tried 2nd gear and it seemed to work out good. I'm currently cleaning / soaking the original fuel tank so had to try out brush hogging with a small temporary tank. Can't wait to get the original tank cleaned out and back on the Farmall H.
