William Falls actually, this is in biological nature...Accurate, due to the males being more eligible to fight for mates and females to do the easy things like finding food, it would make sense for this nature of Pokémon to act the same way, as this depiction of just lazy design this really isn’t.
Haz Mattzu to add on, males typically have larger body parts or brighter body parts in order to attract a mate. Especially in colour, brighter colours indicates a healthy male, telling the female that her offspring will be healthy as well. A lot of the pokemon that have sharper or larger body parts indicate health or “fitness level.” Larger body parts means healthier animal, thus making attracting a mate easier.
They don't need to be completely different, so I think difference in horn length is nice
With most horned animals in real life, males either have bigger horns or males are the only ones with horns.

@@Laekith while I think in general video game animals have no difference, animal like sentient species tend to have awful differences like wow and other mmos. Hell i played a game where I guess they couldn't figure out how to make the non human females appealing to they just weren't present.

I mean, considering in its case the blue portion is just a Pokémon-like decoy to protect the tail, it’s not surprising that the females of the species just started throwing some berry juice on like lipstick to imitate the humans that would pass by. Like, “Yes, I am perfectly normal Pokémon here. Big Pokémon with pretty mouth flaps on like you, yes.”

I love the fact that you can actually see the difference in the wild area when you're walking around. It made catching a Combee SO much easier.

An idea for another video like this could be to showcase some alternate forms Pokémons have that I don't think you have showcased yet (if so let me know please), like all Alcremie forms, the 17 forms Silvally has, Aegislash's Blade and Shield Form etc.
I believe those hidden alternatives are worth mentioning. Thank you.

@@angelareizaga2216 *forms. Amped & Low Key forms. Toxel evolves into either of them by their actual nature. Amped form can also have abilitu plus while Low Key can have minus.

Dorg maybe you read it wrong because I looked up the brawl's trophy description on both bulbapedia and the smash wiki, and both the descriptions say that the male is longer or maybe the wikis themselves corrected it, but I doubt they would do that.

I love how the game devs weren't just like, oh the fEmAlEs aNd mAlEs aRe dIFfEreNt cOloRs, or the fEmAlEs have longer eyelashes or whatever. But how they took the time to make real thought out differences that are similar to those seen in nature.
I don’t know if you forgot but Female Heracross top horn is more shaped into a heart and a male’s is shaped more spiked but thus video was super helpful for a lot of the Pokémon that I never knew had different gender looks! Great job

I mean to be fair, having smaller horns and such makes alot of sense, since males having bigger hirns would be more attractive to females, which would cause the pokemon to have offspring with larger horns, and making the species as a whole stronger, like how women are generally more attracted to the stronger, taller, and more fit males. Its a biological impulse (although we have outgrown it in many ways)
There's also unfeazant, who represent's its species well by the MALE being more prettied up than the female

This is actually a good depiction of gender dismorphism and a part of me is happy that the concept of gender is still something we can tell kids about.
This is pretty interesting! Other than the ones with different color pallets, I actually didn't know that a lot of these were different.
It's cool there is so many diffrences between female and male Pokemon.

They’ve been doing gender variants since Diamond/Pearl. This is nothing new. All the variant models in SwSh were already done since XY anyway, and apparently there’s only one gender variant in Gen 8. None of this was a “new” feature for Sword and Shield.
