I went to school in Ireland in the mid 70s. I was only 9 years old when my teacher locked me in a cupboard and forgot about me for two hours. And if you were left handed they thought it the sign of the devil so you got forced to use your right hand. If you didn't you would get hit with a leather strap.
Some of Glasgow's interesting places are on the outskirts rather than in the middle of the city. Try the Glasgow Necropolis (graveyard) beside Glasgow Cathedral. If you like design there's the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park. There you will see the furniture designs of the very famous Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret who did the glasswork. After you've seen that you could go on the dry snow ski run which is just beside it. Of course there's the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. If in doubt - ask a Glaswegian - and thoroughly enjoy yourself.
AH yeah I had a teacher that was clearly unhinged, a couple actually with this dude in Woodwork, was permanently angry and one day he went on a stool to do something I don't remember but he fell of it , when flying off it onto the floor and that the funniest thing I've ever seen
I remember once in music class I was Handbags at dawn with another pupil the Teacher sent the whole class outside and made us come back in one at a time and used the slipper he kept in his desk and slapped us all once on the ASS the classmates was not Happy with me on that day 😂
My wood work teacher caught me out .... tapped me on head with plank of wood.....but said wayne ...dont jump up 😂😂😂 think i wasnt paying attention or somat ... Back then we had seperate , chem ,bio , info tech , phys , craft design and tech ... And the teachers would tell you off in, unique ways .... like , right class ,wayne has taken a year off everyones life .... 😂😂😂 managed to ignite sulpher we were heating up ,for an experiment.... tried to blow it out .. ooops ...you can only smoother the flames and well ,sulpher is toxic 😂😂😂😂 Those wete the days .... now all you hear is knife crimes ...or pencil sharpener blades been used as a weapon. Etc .... sad really

You need to check out a Glaswegian guy called Larry Dean
Just watched him driving on The World’s Most Dangerous Roads with DJ Jamali Maddix in Bhutan.
