Tata is stuck at 30 kw dc fast charging. China is installing 350 kw dc fast chargers. Please shift to latest tech. Fast charging is key for EV adoption
Please understand.. Tata are not manufacting ev. They simply assemble. Batteries which are hearts are bought out, motor drive train bought out , electrical chargers bought out Dc to Ac inverter bought out ... Car chaisis and painting is usual production job. There is no real R&D work. Tata ev are "Delhiwala assembler car ". No innovation anywhere. Lets be frank.
Even installing that 30 kw dc fast charger is difficult in our country. The grid is already overloaded. Have spoken to some petrol pump owners. They have stated this as the major issue in setting up charging station. We need a scientifically smart govt. Not some propaganda oriented, inefficient, incapable people.
@@palanik1960They cater to the consumer demand. We have much lesser demand than china. Far lesser consumers. Too much income inequality is killing innovation. Smart scientific govt is needed.
Distribution companies are the problem here which are under different state governments. Attempt to privatise them have proven to be very difficult. I doubt grid overload should be an issue at this point of time. We are talking just 60kw chargers.
Only Tesla and maybe Byd are 2 companies with Max vertical integration. At least tata is assembling and giving EVs. Look at the great maruti suzuki, they don't even dare to give an EV option.
depends on the wiring cable's cross section which is used for the power socket. use min. 4 sqmm 3 core wire cable for the power socket to achieve 3.3 kw charging. for 7.2 kw charger use min 6sqmm 3 core cable. however it may reduce the load automatically if the power socket or vehicles battery temperature is high.
@@goodwilllibrary8151 2.5 sq.mm. can support upto 16A current. With 230V, it can provide upto 3.68 kW. When using a 16A EVSE, an EV with 3.3kW or 7.2kW OBC should take atleast 3.3kW at 230V. But all TATA vehicles takes upto 2.65kW only. You may check it. It is not while overheating. During overheating it may be reduced to 6A. However if you select 16A mode in a 32 EVSE, vehicle will take 3.24kW. ie., If we buy a 16A EVSE and use, the vehicle will limit power to 2.65kW (I don't think that restriction is there in protocol), but when we select same 16A mode in a 32A EVSE, it takes 3.24kW. So literally, with 13A EVSE provided by TATA, all the TATA EV users will be able to get maximum of 2.65kW only (eventhough 2.99 kW is possible at 230V or 3.18kW at 245V).

Due to rain there is big power cut and no chargers were working in 50-60 kms i have to wait many hours.. Otherwise there are many chargers available on highway now..
What you do during fast charging on the road? How you cut the time?
EV is the future ..
0:31 Even in this video you are stating 3.3kW but all you vehicles limits the charging power by 2.65kW even if we use 16A EVSE. TOO BAD.
depends on the wiring cable's cross section which is used for the power socket.
@@goodwilllibrary8151it's not wiring related. The onboard charger itself limits to under 3KW power but everywhere they say it charges with 3.3KW. There is huge difference in overall charging time.
Before buying an EV watch what MGUY Australia has to say about EVs.
Charging fee for 6 units is 200 bucks????????????????????????????????? thats 35 rs/unit. Thats too costly

🤓how to charge when it is raining! So in rainy season chargers outside our home become useless!
#TATAev
Few points to add improvement for ev charging..
1. Rainy season protection at inlet point? Opening upwards instead of side way?
2. Split EV batteries - use one battery for running and one will get recharge while running.. this to improve range!
3. Switch button to use battery split battery, so that it remains alert to user for proper eco mode usage!
Rain protection at the charging socket is a must have. Rest is more or less already there or can be integrated by a software update.
I have facing naxon ev max battery drain problem, battery drop 60% to 20% within 10 km. this is terrible for tata consumers.we can not long trip
That's not good.. Please share with us your experience after resolution

Software bug.
Good Intiative.
When aluminium battery come...we are tried to charge cars 😢
@tata.ev kindly work on a Strong hybrid architecture. Diesel is dead, petrol is getting difficult and EVs also cannot be the only future. If you don't bring in the product, the compitatior will grab the market! Wake up before it's too late!
7.2 ke is a slow charger. That triangle shaped wall mounted charger is not a fast charger.
Only if their service was this good 😢
why EVs are so hyped up ? We see huge lines on CNG pumps , ev charging station can cater only a few vehicles , it will be more congested than imagined
Waiting for Tesla
