No offence to Troye, but it bugs me that they have him doing this and not Lucas Hedges. They don’t have the lead actor, and have Troye as the thumbnail because of his “fan base” and it’s pure click bait. Lucas should be up there, he 100% made this movie.

David Sinnott actors can’t always make it to every interview/panel. Lucas is working on multiple projects so he was probably just busy on the day this was filmed.

Lucas is performing on Broadway lol he had 3 movies at Tiff and didn't go to any of them. Your argument only works for why out of all the supporting characters in the movie Troye is the only one who gets to do promo for the movie. That is where they are using his name and fanbase for promo and its smart. This story is important and they should utilize all available methods to spread the word.
