Looks yummy! I am going to try serving it to my non vegan husband. I am sure he will think it is chicken. Thanks Chuck for another wonderful, easy recipe.
Hi Chuck. I made your portobello mushroom fajita recipe for dinner today. 😋 Boy were those a hit! I have soy curls, I will try this recipe tomorrow. Thanks for all the easy yummy recipes. Enjoy your videos and the interviews you’ve been doing. Love your calm demeanor, your voice is very easy to listen to.
I just made this!!! Yum, yum, yum, yum!!! I used already made up Whole Foods 365 BBQ sauce, and I cut up carrots along with the other veggies you suggested!!!! Truly tasty! Thank you for promoting vegan foods with your content!! xoxo
I've been using soy curls for some time - in soups, stews, gravy, barbecue, etc. They remind me of next generation TVP, which I used several years ago. I really like the looks of your barbecue, and I'm going to try your recipe. Thank you for sharing.
I spin dry my soy curls in a salad spinner. The Butler website has a locator tab to see if they are sold locally around you. My Whole Foods store does not carry them but a very large Asian market does carry them. We love them in stir fries too.
Great ideas flowing from that vid... Thanks Chuck ! This looks like a great meal I can make and put a bunch in the fridge for the next couple days. Also I'm thinking wow that would be great in a pita pocket, on a french bread, or in a tortilla too. So versatile...
Great video. I love soy curls and they are a staple in our house. Quick and super simple to put a meal together. I like how they are so minimally processed and no other ingredients.
This looks delicious and I will make that when I get Home from our Vacation. I freeze my soycurls because I bought a Box from Butler with 70 pounds but is just me eating that way.
Soy Curls are great and really do make an excellent meat substitute, and add more protein to vegan dishes! BBQ looks great with them; I'll have to try that. I've mostly used them in stir fries and as the chicken in chicken and dumplings or chicken pot pie.
Haven’t made anything with my soy curls in a long time, thanks for reminding me they’re in in freezer. Your bbq sandwich looks delicious and I love the sexy background music!
Have YOU tried Soy Curls? If so - what is YOUR favorite way to enjoy them??
I like to season the liquid to rehydrate them, maybe poultry seasoning or onion, garlic and liquid smoke. Stir fry them with veggies.
I have not tried soy curls, but I use TVP for making “mock meat sauce” occasionally. Would love to try them. Got to get to Whole Foods! Thanks, Chuck!

They have them at Patels brothers, they are called soya chunks.
I made this. It was so good, and so quick and easy. Definitely a keeper.
That looks so easy to do! And the nutritional benefits are through the roof! YUM!

Soy curls make a great substitute for pork in posole recipes also.
Great video! Thanks for the reminder of how good soy curls are.

Thanks for the tip! I’m going to try my salad spinner!
I tried my salad spinner and it worked great! Great idea - thanks!
So glad to see you back and posting videos 😊. I grew up in Texas and bbq sandwiches were my favorite and now I can still have them just healthier 😊

It's also nice to have vegan content creators not flexing their muscles nonstop either!

Soy curls are great, but watch how long they're soaked or they'll turn to mush.
Looks delicious!
Is this freezable?
absolutely
How long do you soak the curls?
At least 15 min or until they are soft
