this is always overlooked when comparing ratings, the early high ratings of new animes are always from the manga readers who were waiting for the anime, so they're always a lil bit biased. you have to wait for sometime until the hype dies to know the real rating of an anime.
Dandadan is a piece of art. It is beautifully directed and I think that is the main reason it is doing so well. Great scene composition, pacing, movement. And they’re not afraid to slow down to let the full emotional weight of a scene hit you. Every scene, every color, has a meaning and I think that’s great. I loved the manga since the first chapter because of the vibe and they absolutely nailed it spot on so far.

It's literally a work of art!! The creator deserves all the love, especially if you've learn the story on how he created Dandadan
I love this series. It mixed action with absurd humor and even has some serious emotional moments. Watching episode 7as a 35 year old man who hasn't cried in over a decade absolutely shattered me, and not just because I have three daughters.
It’s literally like they threw in every crazy concept they could think of mixed it in a blended and called it a day. Like the more freaking random crao you have the less you are to actually make something surprising or interesting

Personally, I don't take these reviews seriously at all because I know there are going to be multiple fans from other shows who are going to come in and downvote it out of pure jealousy. Whatever rating Dandadan has at the end of its first season is going to be the REAL telltale of how much everyone liked it.
As OnePiece fan i can say that, Dandadan episode 7 is as well directed as episode 1015 and fan letter episode Just pure art work I hope people dont say it overrated

I accidentally just checked out dandadan while getting bored over the one piece break and bleach delay and just checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find it pretty dang interesting. I like dandadan. Let’s hope it gets longer seasons

Immense glaze, animes wich have been out for ages with an anime which were ranked by thousands ofc will have a low rank score while Dan Da dan just came out it will eventually fluctuate and become lower

People only like this show cause its hype right now, and because its different from the normal Shounen, which if you're tired of Shounen, step up the ranks and watch Seinen, or better yet, live action.

My favorite first episode of any anime: "Surprised to be Dead" (Yu Yu Hakusho). In one episode we learn that the delinquent MC Yusuke who he thought no one would care if he died actually was more loved than he thought was possible. And it gets to me every time.
