Pow Mow going corporate is not a benefit to the average skier. Pass prices have already increased quite a bit. Access is more limited (idc how they try to spin it) Overcrowding is not an issue at this resort.
It's another example of a corporation buying a business and trying to squeeze every single dollar out of it. The industry is not really competing in a free market. Opening a new resort requires permits from the government, which atr very difficult to get approved. Plus, something tells me the only way you could possibly get it approved, is if you already have a whole bunch of money and are playing the game in Washington...
think about the size of the USA vs Europe. The # or ski resorts per square mile is not even close. They both have similar amounts of total area. (3.5 to 4 million sq. Miles) United States has around 300 resorts...Europe ~3000😅😅😅
Germany alone has 400+!!!
The scope of European resorts is pretty amazing.
