The vast majority of the value from the kyrian ability was the damage it did, the animacharged combo point mechanic doesn't mean much at all. That being said there's definitely an argument to be made that Sepsis isn't impactful enough and Kyrian soulbinds/signature ability are still better.

Clearly u don't play ret. Using any immunity in arena feels horrible cuz it will mean the enemy team will focus all their damage on someone else. Bubbling urself means screwing over your teammates. Self heals require u to sacrifice ur already lacking sustained damage and a decent burst requires a total setup of 10 globals and gives enemies a clear sign that ur gnna burst cuz there are giant glowing wings in you... The issue isn't rets my friend, if u let a ret oneshot u cuz u ignored the entire buildup ret has to do and the giant winged warning sign, that's on you.
@@JonnyOgg compared to other classes the sustained damage of rets is lacking. Ret is a burst class and outside burst they simply try survive. U will never see a ret in the top dps meters, their big damage only comes from bursts.

the map is a rogue skill called detect which does nothing, bought in rogue order hall. buff with blue circle is celestial guidance, a weapon enchant. big white circle is sinful revelation another weapon enchant. the one at 7:52 is just a toy pika has macroed into one of his abilities

I can’t be mad, getting killed without getting to play your class isn’t PvP, I do think they missed the reason as to why rogues are annihilating people but if I get stunned at 100% health with 1 person attacking me and pop unending resolve I should live to see the end of that stun. The damage was just too much in too little time but then you are basically useless besides that, I feel for rogues (not really but I’ll pretend) I really do but I’m happy to see a nerf, it wasn’t the right nerf but something needed to be done
You trinket defensive and you waste that go and live. It wasn't hard. I'm a warrior player btw and had no issue with the way rogues were. If you messed up you paid for it. You now can make multiple mistakes without punishment.

I have a Clip of a rogue killing me in 0.5 seconds i can admit the nerf was too much but it needed a nerf maybe not shadowblades and Cold blood but their legendary that gives them
Druids are in a really sad state right now I'm a one pump chump reliant on this stupid Rng ability that sometimes kills everyone and sometimes hits a bunch of pets and spams thrash 6 times and is so easily stopped you need to fake multiple kicks and get your own cc so they can't stun or anything else. But it's regardless of all the Rng and ability to be stopped, its the best part of the druid BY FAR and it's not even close and I have no control after I press the button on what happens after I set everything up sometimes everyone dies and it feels like I did nothing but press this stupid button that randomly did it for me.
Buff assassination and ill play my rogue again. Sub feels terrible to play. Having it dwarf assassination was so lame. Glad they are close to equal footing again. Class balancing is one thing, but only one spec being viable is just as depressing
Checking dps metter saying that he is bottom damage, guy shows up once per minute to do damage, rest of the game behind pillar or in stealth.If a class can kill you in a 5 second stun they are op.
I'm sure Pika's aware of it though he doesn't mention it in the video, but rogue dealing "bottom damage" doesn't actually mean he's contributing nothing. Rogues are unparalelled in their CC abilities, often being able to lock a person without trinket up out of a fight for 8+ seconds, which can be devastating in 3s or duo dps 2s when facing a healer. Timing your CC right as a rogue can be one of the higher skill-caps in the game, and even in this video with nerfed rogue, you can see Pika CC locking enemy healers numerous times.
Honestly the worst part about this is that sin is just not nearly as fun to play as sub. Bummer that sub is basically designed around PvP more so than the other specs, but we are probably one more change away from being stuck with sin again

You dont even have time to do that.. by the time you check to make sure the rogue is actually popping his cds (not just faking it) you are already 20% hp

On the bright side rogues actually have a choice of covenant now. Imo, nothing worse than a class with a mandatory spec (sub) and a mandatory covenant (kyrian)

It’s not that there isn’t a problem with opener one shots. The problem is they didn’t necessarily fix that and they left rogues awful in games that last longer than 30 seconds
I am absolutely in no way surprised about the nerf. I absolutely believed we needed one. But this is far far more than they needed. Nerf the overall damage and shift a good chunk of it over from burst to consistent. Yay now they aren’t 1 shotting you while gaining some viability in 3’s. Ez fix

I'm 2100 so idk if I'm high enough for me saying this to matter to ppl but I feel warr is fine where it is rn it may need a tiny and I mean tiny decrease in execute or ms dmg but in general I think that it can still be countered with good play and while warr rotation is ez warr now has a new skill cap with a lot of its ability that brings utility other than ms and rally which always made it low A tier and I think rn its high A tier. But its not like warriors can press all its cds and kill ppl in 3 buttons like rouge could which is why it had to be nerfed. I think that ppl aren't used to this new warrior utility in pvp and that's why some ppl are calling it op once ppl get accustomed to it I feel ppl will see its really fine where it is. I mean you compare the its utility to other specs you will see its back on neutral ground with them. But yeah give warrior time and I think ppl will see.

Sub has their cloak, vanish, sprint can be used to get rid of snares, evasion and feint. So yeah they are squishy, but your odds of locking them down are much much lower than WW.
If you buff, lets say shadowpirest for 10000% increse damage, it still gets destroyed by a rogue in 1 cheap shot trhoug dispersion so whats the point of buffing other classes, if rogue oneshots everyone? Literally oneshots. That is too much, those nerfs were needed.

Druids are in a really sad state right now I'm a one pump chump reliant on this stupid Rng ability that sometimes kills everyone and sometimes hits a bunch of pets and spams thrash 6 times and is so easily stopped you need to fake multiple kicks and get your own cc so they can't stun or anything else. But it's regardless of all the Rng and ability to be stopped, its the best part of the druid BY FAR and it's not even close and I have no control after I press the button on what happens after I set everything up sometimes everyone dies and it feels like I did nothing but press this stupid button that randomly did it for me.

Buff assassination and ill play my rogue again. Sub feels terrible to play. Having it dwarf assassination was so lame. Glad they are close to equal footing again. Class balancing is one thing, but only one spec being viable is just as depressing

Checking dps metter saying that he is bottom damage, guy shows up once per minute to do damage, rest of the game behind pillar or in stealth.If a class can kill you in a 5 second stun they are op.
I'm sure Pika's aware of it though he doesn't mention it in the video, but rogue dealing "bottom damage" doesn't actually mean he's contributing nothing. Rogues are unparalelled in their CC abilities, often being able to lock a person without trinket up out of a fight for 8+ seconds, which can be devastating in 3s or duo dps 2s when facing a healer. Timing your CC right as a rogue can be one of the higher skill-caps in the game, and even in this video with nerfed rogue, you can see Pika CC locking enemy healers numerous times.
Honestly the worst part about this is that sin is just not nearly as fun to play as sub. Bummer that sub is basically designed around PvP more so than the other specs, but we are probably one more change away from being stuck with sin again

I dont have a covenant yet and no legendary, and we are 27-26 record right now. 1100 rating obvious shit but i would say sub must still be decent since i have no gear/covenant/legendary

I'm 2100 so idk if I'm high enough for me saying this to matter to ppl but I feel warr is fine where it is rn it may need a tiny and I mean tiny decrease in execute or ms dmg but in general I think that it can still be countered with good play and while warr rotation is ez warr now has a new skill cap with a lot of its ability that brings utility other than ms and rally which always made it low A tier and I think rn its high A tier. But its not like warriors can press all its cds and kill ppl in 3 buttons like rouge could which is why it had to be nerfed. I think that ppl aren't used to this new warrior utility in pvp and that's why some ppl are calling it op once ppl get accustomed to it I feel ppl will see its really fine where it is. I mean you compare the its utility to other specs you will see its back on neutral ground with them. But yeah give warrior time and I think ppl will see.

WW is extremely squishy, if they get locked down its game over. The tradeoff for their burst is quite fair

Sub has their cloak, vanish, sprint can be used to get rid of snares, evasion and feint. So yeah they are squishy, but your odds of locking them down are much much lower than WW.
