Thank you for reviewing our FUZE MAX. The goal of the FUZE is to offer a high performance, comfortable scooter, at the best price possible to our customers. To address your feedback: - As mentioned by our team, your FUZE came from a small batch we managed to output during COVID specifically for reviewers and to give people the opportunity to try it before our following bigger manufacturing runs. Several units were tried by professional reviewers across Europe with very good feedback overall. In your case, as clearly highlighted by the excessive forward and sideways flex of the main axle and the lack of washers on the hinge there was clearly a manufacturing issue on your unit, on top of being heavily mistreated by UPS during transit with who we started an investigation. As per with any of our customers this is why we offered to get the scooter back and send you a new one. - The handlebar components are mounted relatively loose in packaging to minimise damage during transit and we provide all the tools to make sure this is tightened properly upon delivery. - With respect to top speed, on flat terrain the FUZE will take a person of 75kg and 1.75m to over 42km/h. We recommend doing at least 30km first to reach this performance for new brakes and residual friction to smooth out. Anyone heavier or taller will experience slightly lower top speeds. Terrain inclination also plays a role. - Safety is one of our top priority and as such the hinge attachments were thoroughly tested with a safety margin for the maximum recommended loads. On thousands of units riding for multiple years we have never had a reported failure at that point. The reason for bolts rather than welding is to allow for modularity and to be able to easily change parts for our customers in case of externally induced damage or wear rather than having to throw away entire frames and impinge unnecessary costs to our customers. - The FUZE being sold and advertised as a high performance scooter, the fact that it is possible to access maximum power delivery when maxing out the throttle in mode 3 and releasing the brakes was also a design choice. Of course, throttling less with the same settings will lead to less torque. - Upon receiving your unit we will investigate what happened at the hinge assembly and make sure this never occurs again. It is also possible to tune the folding assembly to completely remove forward play, however the side play you highlight is not normal and we would provide a full refund or new unit to anyone showing this motion as it is clearly a manufacturing mistake. While we are quite surprised with your strong opinion of our product and quite disappointing video title despite the situation we highlighted, we really appreciate your feedback and always make sure to implement enhancements and modifications in our assembly lines as fast as possible. Shall anyone have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, we are always happy to help!
@@Mypitbull82 Hi, thank you for your interest! You can order it via our website and once you receive it will have 30 days or 15km to try it and decide to keep it or return it. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us directly shall you have any questions!
I just received my fuze max yesterday and despite using some thread lock on the bolts mine still has the same issue as this one, in that the “headset” wobble and feels loose. When riding at 18mph and then pulling brakes to come to a slow stop You feel the movements in the front and it all bends forward and feels flimsy.
@@SGretka Hi Sean, we are very sorry to hear that! This could be a folding mechanism setting issue. Could you get in touch with our support team here: furosystems.com/contact and we will help you fix this!
So happy I watched this! I was just about to hit confirm payment 😅 thank you for your honest review! 🙏 do you have any good recommendations for scooters with long range for under 1kgbp?
I just ordered the Max version. From what I gathered this is a demo version that you've been given that has been used by previous people. So it was second hand model you had. They did say speed and distance depends on rider's weight. I hope you get a brand new version untouched that you're able to review properly
@@UnicornReviews oh wow. That's probably why even based on its specs it costs less than 1k. I've only so far heard good things about it just people moaning about the delivery time. I needed something quick with a decent range under 1k
@@manlykscorpa Hi Jay, this unit was a brand new unit from a special COVID batch. Sadly, it does show really bad shipping damage and clear manufacturing faults that we will investigate and make sure never happen again. Overall, reviews of the FUZE are very positive and you are always free to send it back to us within 30 days and 15km for a full refund shall you not be happy with it after delivery. We hope this helps and please don't hesitate to get back in touch with us shall you have any questions!
I have a fuze.I love it and I am happy with the service from furosystems. I have tightened a few bolts and used thread locker but that’s just general maintenance
@@manlykscorpa Hi Jay Jay. I use it regularly on fairly rough track. i am pleased with the range and the power (ability non hills and speed) my only issue is bolts loosening themselves which I have solved with a dab of loctite, no issues since then
@@manlykscorpa I tend to use 2nd gear as there is not a big diiference to 3rd but it goes up a fairly steep hill very well. Incidentally I am no lightweight at 14.5 stone
This review is ridiculous. The bolts are way larger than M4 on the bracket, as well as the bracket being more than big enough. When you apply the brake it moves because it has suspension.
Hopefully, and I'm sure they will, address these issues as Furo bikes get great feedback so maybe they went a bit early with the scooter? HQ in Chelsea, London but I don't know if they're an English company, although by their response I assume they probably are and this should reflect a reputable and honorable ethic. I hope you review the new one when you get it and we can make a informed opinion. BTW FuroSystems, COVID19 should not be used as any excuse with shipping batches. If one of these scooters fails on the road then COVID19 is the least of your worries.
Tbf, as soon as he said others had received and tested the scooter before he did, I knew there must be somethings out of place. The fact that it came in pieces in the box says it all.
This is making me worry now. I've just bought one and I'm very concerned about having to use glue to keep screws tight as tony Cripps says down in the comments.
Hi Looby Loo, as long as it is sufficiently tightened when the scooter arrives, you should not have any issues. If you have any further questions do not hesitate to get in touch with us at info@furosystems.com
@@FuroSystems Thanks for your reply. I am selling my Max now as there is such a looseness in the stem despite the seller saying he'd taken it back to the Fulham shop where they had tightened everything up. Also the throttle is jerky and difficult to control at low speeds. This makes the constant forward movement of my body make me occasionally feel unsafe on it. I wish the company every success though. Nothing worthwhile comes without innovation and risk.
@@loobyloo2923 Hi, we are very sorry to hear about this. This sounds like a problem with the setting of your folding system which we can definitely take care of at our workshop, we will be happy to help! In any case thank you very much for your kind words and we are working hard to improve our products continuously.
@@FuroSystems Thank you very much for your prompt response. AFAIK you only have a workshop in London, is that correct? I'm a long way from London. I don't know if there's a video I could follow to sort the loose stem problem? Part of me doesn't want to sell it because of its good hill climbing ability.
Thanks, after watching this video, I'm definitely not buying this.. As I was about to buy myself into £700+ of problems and misery.. Rather buy something cheaper that works and is good build quality!
The furosystems scooter that I had purchased off you, in October, was ok even doe made many complaints about it rattling and also coming loose... In addition to this, as I was riding over a hump, the wheel snapped off from the metal suspension leg (which I didn't think was possible.)resulting in me falling off and injuring myself. I brought it to Fulham branch where they provided me with a replacement and also informed me that they had put my original tyres on this scooter, which had slime inside to prevent punctures... However 2 days later I had a puncture to my back wheel, so infact my wheels was not changed... I had to bring the scooter all the way back yet again, to be told it would take a week or 2 weeks to fix my puncture. This would be acceptable if I simply needed a puncture repair... But this had all stemed from, the scooters metal frame snapping and me getting injured, me then getting a replacement and being told my original tyres was on my scooter, only to find out it is not my original tyres with slime, so I've now had to buy more slime, and I am now being delayed 2 weeks to get my puncture repaired... Oh dear what a little princess! Bet you’re fun at parties! They’ve sent you a demo unit which has been used by many people before! The packaging and paint aren’t going to be perfect. It’s not a brand new unit so people would have taken bits off and on etc. No need to slate the company.
