Hi Root. Fantastic camp again. The location is beautiful. I thought I recognised it from your earlier video. I’ll rewatch that one. The wet wood was a nightmare, eh? 😵Thank you for the update on Victoria. We miss her. 😀Your nature and vista shots are top notch!👌🏾 Just breathtakingly, gorgeous! It looked like you were above the clouds from the shots on your hike down! ☁️😮The conditions were brutal, at one point we could bearly hear you over the rain on the tarp. You said it was bitterly cold.🌧 Your dinner looked delicious! 👨🍳⛺️
I did say it needed some hot sauce as well!! 😂

I don’t know if you have one already, maybe invest in a bodycam harness for your camera don’t want you injuring yourself.

I agree with you about McVitie's Chocolate Digestives, but I prefer the Milk Chocolate rather than the Dark Chocolate.

Yes a truly awesome spot. Stayed there last night. Weather was beautiful, sunny, great views and no wind. Grill we found hanging in the trees came in handy when we cooked some burgers on the fire

Hi Abel here’s a tip blowing in the fire use a cooper pipe you can get more air to the fire and it works 😊

Now that is the reality of camping....doesn't always go the way we want! Love it. If you just had a way to spit those larger pieces in half, that may have helped them burn better. Thanks for a great video!!!

@@AbelandVictoria Thank you. If possible, could you show us activitties that are around the cabin, e.g. swim near waterfall, or a walk in a beautiful part of the woods, or bunjee jump off a bride, or row a boat on a nearby lake and look at the fish etc,

Another awesome video Abel. Nice to see someone out there gathering up all the dead wood for fires. No doubt there will be some who think that you are stuffing up the eco system. All I see is someone pruning and promoting new growth. I think you could even gather enough rocks to create a small table especially if it gets wet and muddy near the tent. Keep up the fantastic work, hiking up to those places, recording your adventures and also for the time it takes to edit and upload your videos mate. They sure are appreciated. By the way. Had a chuckle when you added the chillies to your dinner. It's extra nice when it's cold and you need a bit of a kick if you are a connoisseur of the nicer things in life.

Think I need that Tarp for my camping in Wales, similar weather. Wish had got a similar tent to yours, have one with a small vestibule. (But loads of space).
As a Brit I approve of the biscuit dunking😂
P.s As on bike tricky with weight. Small miracle am around 10kg (but very basic have to eat out but next to a pub no probs)

If that's the spot I think it is, there's a good source of firewood nearby: that's about 150-200 metres from the bushline above the cobb resivoir - short walk to scavange firewood.
There is some bigger standing dead trees there but didn’t want to cut them down for a fire in these conditions. I’ll save them for snow

If you have trouble finding one look for a money tree, they usually grow near by.

I thought you might head this way after we did Sylvester mission recently. I contemplated taking some wood from the wood shed to go here lol. Would have been to much of a task because pepi keep getting wet playing in the snow.

Which exact tent is this? Hilleberg has so many different levels it's hard to tell which one you have. Hey bushcrafter or not, your setup is your setup and I was impressed with this setup using the limb for both front tie offs.
