In order to end the season, it was time to also finalise some mega base details that needed some well deserved love.

This is a bit awkward, but I've actually got one more episode after this one! Apologies for being severely delayed on the two finale videos.
This episode tidies everything up, and the next one will be playing Bin-Go and saying our official goodbye to the season. Thank you for watching my perspective!

The Allays excitedly bum-rushing Pearl is *extremely relatable* and _precisely_ mirrors my reaction to seeing that she uploaded a new video.
gonna miss this season, it turned into something akin to a comfy place to come home to as it went on. Two years! What an amount of time. Still, with a great journey comes an end. RIP TFC, Obi Wan Alphonso Kenobi, Master Jedi and Jellie, both brought great light into the world that will live on for generations. This was an amazing season of stories, adventure, shenanigans and friendship. Hyped for Season 10

Soup Group definitely was one of highlights of this season, watching your adventures was fun and seeing you build besides one another was great!

33:35 - trying to explain that if it's slab it won't be centered but now it's centered (hatred)

Literally just opened the world download. After admiring Impulses base I walked out and just stood there, staring at you build. It was wonderful
My favorite part of the world download so far is pick-clicking every gorgeous detail in Pearl's base to see what blocks she used to texture her builds-I don't think anyone on the server makes better use of the bottoms and backside of esoteric blocks.
when Sausage toured the HC9 world, he shared some lore he had made up about Pearl actually being under an alien species' control, and even though he was very emphatic about how it was only his interpretation, maybe he was making more sense than he realized
I basically started watching hermitcraft at the start of this season, from like Grian or Mumbo, and then started watching other people's perspectives... Pearl has instantly become my favourite RUclipsr over everyone, and as a fellow Australian I can connect to a lot of what she talks about too... I have especially loved this season with the soup group and the collaboration there... however I LOVE pearls base design with the Alien landscape, and it has also been quite influential to my building style too. Decked out was amazing, and Pearl was incredible there and it was great watching her piece everything together on stream also...
Double life was another highlight for me and especially episode 6 of it... always brings tears to my eyes...
Overall, I just want to say thank you so much Pearl and I look forward to more streams on other things, like the hard-core world, but also to HC Season 10.
I wonder if next Hermitcraft recap video this week would be only Pearl's video

I’m petitioning for both Scar and Pearl to import their bases into next season to continue working on their massive masterpieces. Feels like a shame to see something so artistic left unfinished!

It might just be me, but in a way, the big yellow airlock doors in combination with the dark grey and green doorframes, looks like Pearl with her yelllow hard hat and green overalls. Your base looks so amazing. I would love to explore it. Thank you for the amazing content the past 2 years on the Hermitcraft server!
Honestly, Glow Lichen doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. Not ONLY is it good for texturing and gradients, its also great for mob proofing and mood lighting. And since you can place it on almost any wall, ceiling, and floor, its extremely versatile.
Pearl's base is seriously inspiring. I love how she uses colors and shapes. It's almost like she's painting in Minecraft, but it's one of those chunky paintings with a ton of texture, and I want to touch it all over but the art museum security guards are right there and I don't want to get caught. 😂😂
As always, Pearl treats us to a lovely long video and a remarkable end to the most wholesome season! You have all been such a comfort to your viewers

If Pearl and Bdubs ever collaborate on a base area it's all over for my self-esteem.
Soup Group was amazing! I enjoyed all the season 9 videos, especially Soup Group collabs and Pearl turning Deep Frost Citadel into a second home.
Considering I watched you build stuff inside the tunnel on stream, then to see the clean edit into the episode is so amazing. It totally felt like nobody was lurking in your ear the whole time.
The soup group for world download was my first visit location. Loved the additions to the tunnel. The addition to how you did the doors that you mentioned to Jojo was very cool, I will have to go back and pay more attention. BTW, you moving the guy to the eating area totally startled me when I went down there and heard them.
The Soup Group was such an wonderful team, both in the fun interactions and the amazing combined base area! I'm looking forward to whatever groups and shenanigans come next season! The tune the allays sang while continually giving you items was fun! I love all the extra detail you were able to add this time, I saw bits of it on Sausage's world download tour stream and I thought it was stuff from earlier in the season that I'd forgotten about, great to see it all come together here! I think the first time you placed the row of golden heads they started by attaching to the wall next to you, then the one in the middle attached to the trap door in front of it the second time which was why it was further forward and the next ones attached sideways to it as they had done before, a bit fiddly lol! I'm looking forward to your finale and to the next season, and I hope you have a restful break in the meantime!

I’ve been missing the Hermitcraft episodes a lot, so seeing this pop up made me so happy! Don’t worry about being late with these last couple episodes, because having these to watch in between the seasons is such a treat!
I think the gold block heads were attaching to the nearest side block. When there were no side blocks it placed in the center.
Wonderful season Pearl! You've brought such a unique and wonderful aesthetic to the server!

It never fails to amaze me how Pearl can turn what is essentially just blocks into this beautifully-detailed and immersive world! you can just imagine what life would be like living there and it makesit feel so much more real. I'm so excited to see what next season brings, knowing Pearl it will be incredible. :)

Over the course of season 9 I have:
-Spent some off-time after graduating highschool
-Had my first job
-Done a bunch of comission work
-Applied to (and got rejected from) a college for the first time
-Spent well over a year in a seemingly never-ending mental health spiral
-Applied to a college for the second time
-Started + at this point gone to half a year of college
In all seriousness Hermitcraft season 9 has (despite it's own dark moments) been a pleasant constant for me to look forward to, and will no doubt hold a very spevial place in my and many others hearts.
That being said I'm really curious to see what season 10 will bring :)
I'm going to miss the soup group, you all made such an incredible creation together! I can't wait to see what all of you do next season

I still remember when you first terraformed your side of the river and how beautiful it was. Of course all the details, alien life forms and buildings only made it better but a part of me has always missed that clean, "simple" yet gorgeous landscape. So I kinda like that the canvas on which you painted the rest of your base gets a chance to shine on its own in the new undecorated terrain.

everyone who downloaded the world and has visited that base has been playing around with the light switches. I did, like... for hald an hour! It felt good! It was the tiny little detail that made the base feel alive, and in stasis instead of dead.
Hermitcraft Season 9 is my Roman Empire and nothing can change that...

Pearl this was such a fun season to watch!!!! This has to be by far my favorite base you’ve made, between all the evo and Hermitcraft bases. The way you use color and block choice is incredibly inspiring to say the least, also, soup group was just such a fun trio. I absolutely cannot wait for next season
I absolutely loved your base this season, watching all those streams of you working on the human tunnel or the forest path was always so fun. I’m going to miss season 9, but I’m so excited to see what you do in season 10.

I would love to see Bin-Go return next season pearl! It is a very inspired minigame and it would be amazing to see more hermits playing it.

Jokes aside, this season was an absolute blast, and I'm happy you got a chance to flex your creative muscles in a full-length season. (Not to discount season 8, of course, you still did amazing stuff there!)
I would say the new terrain not having trees is fine like this, as if it was an "alien grass" that behave same way as water, flowing up down and over things,
so it prevents trees from living on it from the constant movement.
I know it probably will never happen, but I'd love to see Hermitcraft with the create mod. Not for the farms or the automation, but purely for the sheer creativity with moving parts in builds.
I didn't realize it's been two years of this iteration of Hermitcraft. Damn, where does the time go?

I just love the color scheme in the eating areas. Vibrant without being too busy. I will totally have to use the signs with carpets table idea in the near future.

The placing of the player heads is dependant on what blocks are next to them. If you just place it on the ceiling, it places it like normal cause there's nowhere else to go. But if a block is next to it, it will try to place it on the side of the block as support.
Its like how if you right click the ceiling with a torch it will put it on the wall if there's an available spot (the difference being that player heads can be free-floating unlike torches). Not sure _why_ its programmed that way.
I'm a new subscriber and this is my first time watching one of your videos, I have seen you play before in grain or mumbo's videos but it's a whole different experience watching your videos. I'm just so excited to see what you do in the next season and I wish you the best of luck.

Pearl I really enjoyed following your journey on Hermitcraft this year. You're truly a genius building with so many different colors and blocks and somehow making it look beautiful. How do you do that! Soup group adventures, pranks, Cleaning lady jobs,TCG, Decked Out, ect... it was so fun to watch. About placing heads on the ceiling, I think the "rules" are as follows. The head wants to be attached to other blocks, but can't so with a block above. Hence, if there's no block besides above, it places as if you were to place it on the ground. Otherwise, they place on the "most full" block, I think, where placing against blocks is most preferred, then heads, and only then trapdoors.

I was feeling very empty today and this long video was just needed to perk me up while I was working on my Bullet Journal. Yes more Bingo
I noticed while you were struggling with it, and I just tested it to make sure, the Heads are constantly trying to attach to whatever Surface is available.
When placed on the Bottom of a Block, they'll be centered, BUT if there's ANYTHING they can attach to, they will. If there's multiple Walls they can attach to (which does if fact include other Heads), THEN Directional Placement will have an affect. (only for the Walls available)
However, the Top of a Block is also a valid Surface, so you can just place Blocks underneath, and get them all centered that way. (otherwise it's impossible, as they'll all try to attach to eachother)
Knowing how to properly manipulate them though, you might not even want them centered! You can make some rather nice designs by centering them in intervals, and attaching the ones in-between to those.

I did not know that Allay make a sound when they deliver items.
And now I'm convinced they are actually the tormented souls of cursed children.

Your base is a spectacle, it’s literally a separate world from the rest of hermitcraft!! The blending of colors and blocks to create terrain that’s almost alien, with giant alien like flora and an INSANE sense of scale without the need over detailing- impressive is an understatement

Your base is one of the most beautiful and interesting bases I have ever seen. I think this is my favourite base this season.
Shout out to all hermits though, everyone went 100 this season with whatever project they worked on and every single thing that was built is just utterly over the top fantastic. From starter base village, to the nether hub, to all the portal rooms, the shopping district, the lore builds, the builds that hold games, the TWO games within a game!, Bdubs random finds scattered around the reaches of the server, Christmas town nestled atop the donut, Mumbo's totally finished vault and becoming the richest hermit on the server through passive income 😂, David Copperfield v1.0 (RIP) and v2.0 (I hope you got well soon, Creepers jeepers), and just all the fun story lines and organic lore than became canon. Every single base! How much work everyone put into this season, no matter how much or how little they played, everyone has a piece of their heart here.
Though my real question is...
Who has the dare stick and what's their reason for losing the game? 😂 (i assume who ever ends the season with the dare stick loses since they never completed the mission of completing and passing it on 🤭)

RIP TFC. I wasnt even aware he was a hermit since he embodied the real meaning of rhe word "hermit" hehe, but it is still sad knowing that somebody has moved on from this world. May your mine shafts always be full of riches, and may you keep mining for treasure where ever you are now. 🕯️⛏️💎
🤔 I wondered if that path would match up with the flight of stairs at the back of the Frozen Citadel, but maybe it comes out on a different side, I can’t tell.
I still think your two big plants/mushrooms look as if they are walking along, conversing as they go, when viewed from the front of your base. Simply enchanting. Thank you for sharing your artistic talents! That dragon-egg dragon still blows me away!

Pearl! I don't know if someone mentioned it yet but to put the heads in the direct center of the top block, you place blocks behind, as you did. Then you put buttons on those blocks. That's it! I know this happened a bit ago, but, for the future :]
This actually made me sad to watch, but I like that you took so much time to finish up some of your build. Looking forward to S10 Pearl!
