2016 will always in my heart be the best WS ever played. I may be biased as a Cubs fan, but firstly, the first WS win for my Cubbies in 108 years, secondly, the Cubs bouncing back 3-1 to winning it all in 7 was amazing, third, game 7 was just flat out amazing considering how back and forth it was throughout the game, but in the end, Cubs won and that’s all that matters to me

As a Yankee fan I have had the luxury of witnessing some amazing emotional baseball games in my life. Game 7 of 2016 WS is the most insane game I have ever seen.
My favorite World Series of all time was 2010 because The Giants gave me my first World Series as a die hard fan & witnessing us lose in 2002 when I was 8 was a real heartbreaker. 💔I never thought I’d see us win one let alone 3. The best in my opinion was 2014. We’ll never see a performance like that again like the one from Madison Bumgarner. Non bias aside I’d have to say 2017’s & 2011 were pretty dope too! Can’t wait for Game 6 tomorrow!!! Let’s go Nats!!!

2016 and 2013 will always be my two favorite world series that I've ever watched. 2013 was an emotional one for Boston after the bombing (same said for the 2017 WS) and then an over 100 year drought from the cubs was amazing. Big papi has always been one of my favorite players and to see him play like that was amazing.

Adrian B Are they more popular? Honestly the Cubs have been mediocre since they won the World Series in 2016, they didn’t even make the playoffs in 2019. Astros have been getting a lot more notoriety and exposure since the 2017 World Series. More media outlets have been talking about how great the Astros organization has been the past 3 years compared to the collapse the Cubs have gone through after one year of being on top.

As a cards fan, I think 2011 is #1. David freese was just so clutch you have no idea. I remember my dad jumping up and down shaking the whole house When freese hit that triple. I of course had to go to bed to get ready for school and wake up to find that the cards are still in it. Thanks David.
This list was pretty dang accurate...#1 and #2 are interchangeable depending on if you are a Cubs or Cardinals fan.

Cubs fan too, and that cardinals/rangers series was the series that really got me into baseball. The David freese inning is my first real vivid baseball memory.
Huge Cubs fan here, yeah 2016 was honestly a better series. However 2011 wasn’t too shabby either. I may be biased, but yeah. I remember crying waking up the next morning after game 7 and being so happy.

I still give the nod to 2011. At some point in that game I said to my son (10 at the time), "No way the Rangers come back from this." Then after the Hamilton homer, "No way the Cards come back from this."
2017 was the best world series of the decade imo. There's certainly an argument as to why 2016 is better but i definitely think 2016 and 2017 should be the top 2

No disrespect to the 2016 cubs, but 2011 to me will always be not only the best world series, but the best playoff run in mlb history simply because nobody thought the cardinals would be there, especially being 10.5 games out of the wild card in late august, and because of the fact that they were down to the final strike not once but twice in the do or die game six

I remember watching game 7 of the 2016 World Series as a cubs fan in my room, it was the most insane and back to back game I’ve ever seen, I celebrated so hard with my family at the end and I woke up next morning still not being able to believe what happened last night.

As a native Houstonian 2017 will always be the most special. We lost a lot of memories in Harvey, but the Astros gave us something to stand behind. They reminded us to be Houston Strong.

You should make a video on what next team you think will win their 1st World Series. We have the Brewers, Padres, Rockies, Rays, Rangers, and Mariners. I personally think it will be Milwaukee or Tampa Bay.
I guess I am biased, but as a baseball fan in general the 2016 world series was the best. 2011 was solid too, but just cuz of game 6, and any game 7 just hypes up the drama.
Plus the 108 years for the cubs and the 68 year drought for the tribe, the billy goat curse (although technically broken when the cubs advanced to the WS), the 3-1 deficit, the definitely cursed 8th inning for the cubs (ahhem, 2003) and just pure team spirit and thuggin it out.
Big Drama big win, and the 8 millionth time I cried over the cubs, only these were tears of joy.

As a Red Sox fan I would choose 2013 over 2018. Yeah the Red Sox had put up one of the best seasons in history but 2013 was for the city of Boston, and I just loved seeing them in that series

the indians fought through all the odds and the idiotic fox anouncer joe buck who couldn't shut up about the cubs and took the series to game 7, including embarassing the cubs in the begenning of the series, its hard to call it a blown lead. and also, the cavs had to win game five in Golden state, and no i dont care if draymond was suspended that game

I believe that the 2016 cubs World Series was the greatest because each team had some history or curse before the Series. My second favorite is The Astro’s vs dodgers.

I'd say 2019 WS is number 1 for me. I didn't really care about the Nats, but I hate the Astros and especially knowing what we do now. The nats as a wildcard team nearly losing the WC, and narrowly winning the NLDS made it through past the NLCS and made an unforgettable world series. They never been to the world series and I as a Mariners fan has hope to see that some time.
This list is honestly super solid. I would say the 2 and 3 spots could be interchangable. But really solid.

You got a few things wrong about the 2016 World Series. Game 6 was 10-2, not 9-3. Also, Rajai Davis hit a 2-run home run. It even said it on screen right after you said "3-run home run". You also missed the legendary speech made by Jason Heyward in the locker room during the rain delay.
The 2016 World Series was my favorite because I’m a diehard Cubs fan and I never thought they would come back down 3 games to 1 and Game 7 was Crazy cool especially since in my Opinion they won 8-7 like at the time I didn’t know that Ben Zobrist would be MVP until they announced him as MVP. He did a great job out there but I thought Arietta would be MVP because of game 2 and game 6 but overall I’m happy that the 108 year wait is over :)

2013 was a great World Series, but the fielding was atrocious on both teams and it was kinda funny. Also, Game 3 ended on an interference call and the very next one ended on a pick off at first. Big Papi was also intentionally walked three times in Game 6, he had four plate appearances total.

I would flip your number 2 and 3 picks. The Astros winning their first after Harvey was special. You mentioned the Boston Bombing for one of Boston's win's, so a special circumstance for Houston should add to the appeal as well. Plus, I think the "Legend of David Freese" has had more time to marinate so you only think it's better because you've remembered it longer. Otherwise, great list!
2014, 2016, 2019 were the best series of the decade dor me. The only one I don't remember is 2011, funny enough. I do remember Freese being the hero, but that's about it.
