JCB 1CXT Backhoe review I have owned a JCB 1CXT Backhoe since 2015 and I have had a mostly positive experience with the Equipment. However I have concluded three main issues with the product’s overall performance. After being given a 15 month warranty on my backhoe, its drive motor functions completely failed directly after 15 months of use and the jcb Trinidad didn't honor the warranty. The drive motor also continued to have consistent leaking problems approximately every 9 to 12 months after. There is no way of conducting an oil change on the drive motor without completely removing it from the machine and the mechanical seals in the drive motor are exposed to debris and the elements as it is not properly secured, therefore resulting in the consistent failure of the drive motor. Another noticeable fault is that the swing box of the machine will constantly leak due to very poor design. Hydraulic cylinders as present in the larger models are better. The swing box is also unreliable and prone to performance failures after only 6 months of use. The air conditioning bracket also has a faulty design casuing it to periodically break approximately every six months. Besides these three major machine failures, the JCB 1CXT works well. Improvements in the areas previously stated will need to be made to enable consumer satisfaction.

I currently own a 3cx offset backhoe in California and I am planning to visit the JCB headqaurters in England. I have been hoping to see this unit available in the USA for sometime. I am holding out from buying a Wacker Nueson mini excavator because of this machine. Is there any projection for when this may be available in the states? Are they working on meeting the EPA requirements.

Id buy one of these and use it for a year and resell it and down size. but id level my home and shop and green houses spots first or lease it for a right down on taxes.

The one I tried was 4.3 tonnes and extending dipper took it to just over 3 m
