Just my two cents. Make sure to always invest your money once you start making it. Get a Fidelity or Vanguard account and put money into stocks. It doesn't have to be for retirment, it can be an account that you can dip into any time you want without penalty to get your money out if you need it. Contribute to it every month and have your money work for you.

That's one crazy thing about money
a lot of people don't make money
but a LOT of people actually do 😂
The hardest part is keeping the money not making it
I have some friends who are scammers and they make $10k to $20k a month and they spend it all every single month lol
And just like you said, they never know where it went 😂
    $100 here, $200 there
That stuff add up real fast

As an older entrepreneur don’t spend more than a few hundred dollars until you get paying clients. Build a simple Wordpress or wix starter template and have them pay you via stripe. Sales and managing cash flow is the way to go. You haven’t made a mistake, you just have to recuperate your money, and set some goals for yourself. That would be to get your first client number one, instead of getting a client per week and also working on your offer. Having the right offer is single-handedly the most important part. Meaning maybe your clients don’t want leads, maybe they’re looking for booked appointments. Trust me, 1 booked appointments are worth more than 10 leads

Yea I found that out recently and I didn’t even need that much money to start,

    $250 for EIN
Like you said it should be free
Do you have a job currently that you're using to fund your business?
That's a healthy capital to start any business
Shopify might be better with that type of capital as you can scale to the moon with tik tok or instagram influencers

Well. It’s called starting your own business. I consult for startups which begins with a business plan and drafting up a proforma so you can pretrack your expenses and forecast. I advise using what you have and not dole out cash unless you absolutely have to. Work on conservative estimates both from a revenue and expense viewpoint, and be disciplined to be consistent with your efforts and continuously improve. I’m sorry you had to go through the University of Hard Knocks to pursue your dream. You are much wiser. With that said, I recommend you sitting down and drafting up a marketing and sales strategy that conforms with your mission statement and high quality delivery system. If you have not written a business plan, I highly recommend you doing it and don’t buy an app or software program. Get a template. If you don’t have one, dm me and I’ll send you an attachment and example. It has to be written from the heart. You can even write it with a pencil and paper. It’s not how it looks (unless you’re sending it to an investor) but what’s in it that matters. Good luck and best wishes. Sensei Domi
