      Oro de David Was it? Do you follow basketball? What he did to that Celtics team was a complete disaster. Then Brooklyn proceeded to take a step back this year, but actually looked pretty good whenever Kyrie was hurt and not playing. Maybe you don’t like the joke because there is a little too much truth in it. Also, show me point guard who is shoot and dribble first, defense never, and also mentally shaky as far as toughness ... who has also led his team to a lot of success. That player doesn’t exist.

      MegaGolgo13 How was he joking? He elaborated on his belief during a long form podcast, then refused to talk about it when people brought up in media scrums after games. Maybe he said he was joking to not have to talk about it, but the original talk about his belief in the flat Earth appeared to be sincere.

I'll be rooting for an upset all 4 years ... the "safe" pick is UConn ... granted, you earn that offer ... and get a lot of help on the court (other top picks) ... boring though.

    She seems very talented and like an interesting prospect to watch - but why is the first accomplishment she talks about how many followers she has ? Shouldn't she primarily care about how good she is at playing basketball, how far she managed to carry her team, how much her PPG, APG, win shares etc. increased ? I don't want to single her out, because I think that most "generation z" players might think that way, but it still irks me to care about the fame more than about the game.

    They need to lower the baskets a foot like they do the nets in volleyball for women. They would get a ton more spectators. Imagine women’s volleyball with men height nets and women who could hardly spike a ball...if at all. That would be lame. But we ask for women to use the same height hoop? Doesn’t seem right...

    • @belledej7555
      @belledej7555 4 года назад

      wakawaka1976 no they don’t need to lower it. I mean people would still complain either way, like rn people are saying that they need to lower the rims so they can start dunking more which they should work for and if they were to lower the rims people would say that it’s too easy for them.

    Sports are fleeting & momentary; best for kids to focus on academics. My brother was an elite hockey player - toughest sport to master; far more technically challenging than hoops. Rugby is another sport that commands respect for its toughness. Many of these talented kids get injured & that’s it ... parents invest way too much stock in sports & lose sight of studies.

      Grey Ford yea i totally understand your point due to the athleticism difference but she seems to be a legit 6’1 and way quicker than many dudes of the same height...not saying she would be every dude but from my experience she could definitely beat a majority of high school and college casual ballers. I know dudes that would cook her too for sure though

    • @michaelkiesling4641

      Grey Ford also she doesnt just shoot...her passes are out of this world and i think she could play slow allowing her to create a ton of nice things. She may lose a lot of 1v1 possibly but would definitely stand out in a 5v5 many times (and I’m talking about above average hoopers, maybe dudes who played varsity but weren’t amazing, not actual collegiate hoopers)
