    A conversation between Lord Shiva and his divine consort Parvathi.
    It is interesting to note that the actor enacts roles of both Shiva and Parvathy, though he is dressed up in Ravana costume. Ravana is the main character of this solo act of Kailaasoddharanam.

    Keremane Shambhu Hegde was more than an artiste who gave new dimension to the traditional art form by synchronizing the elements of Indian choreography. In his memory the trust has been celebrating a mega cultural event - “KEREMANE SHAMBHU HEGDE RASHTRIYA NATYOTSAVA” (Keremane Shambhu Hegde memorial National Dance Festival) so as to preserve, popularize, and create awareness on his work and art and culture of this country. On this occasion art forms from all over India, such as Yakshagana, Bharatnatyam, Chhau, Gotipua of Orissa, Carnatic,Hindustani Classical Music, Langa Mangniyar of Rajasthan, Kathak,Carnatic...etc. come together to the village. And there will be a saga of cultural programs and discussion sessions with the performers in our premises. The objective is to expose different art forms to this area which will give an idea of panorama of Indian cultural heritage. It has been decided to celebrate this event for five days akin to cultural festivals like festivals of Khujaraho, Hampi, etc. The open-air and closed auditorium in the premises of Mandali will be utilized to host all these events.
    All these cultural events are organized by Idagunji Mela every year in winter (January-February) at “Yakshaangana”in Gunavante, a beautiful village in Honnavara Taluk,located in two acres of land near NH-17(now NH-66)
    Our Mandali has got the background of sincere effort of restoring the aesthetics of heritage for which we expect financial help by art lovers.
    Koodiyattam- is a traditional performing art form in the state of Kerala, India. It is a combination of ancient Sanskrit theater with elements of Koothu, a Tamil performing art which is as old as Sangam era. It is officially recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
