Though the 3D character models are a staple in the Nancy Drew games, I really did like the 2D animated characters in this. It sent me back to the 90s big time! I also liked how the puzzles, reading and clues were way more straight-forward and simple. Some of the later ND games sometimes puts too much of either of the three, so having the clues be a little tighter was refreshing. The ending was also epic! I only wish we got to put a quarter in one of the jukeboxes at the diner.
My BF and I decided to play the remastered version before we watched this, and I'm so glad we did! It's so different from the original, and it's been fun seeing all the differences. They really changed a lot!

I used to speedrun Titanic Adventure Out of Time and it has 2 disks like this, one with the boat and the other with everything else, and we got around disk changing by turning the disks into .iso files and mounting them in virtual disk drives. Now it’s run using the steam version.

Agreed. I've also thought (for awhile now) that it would be nice if he stopped using gunshot sound effects in his videos. I find it very startling and that it takes you out of the relaxed feel his videos usually have.
I want to recomend a game for ur win98 pc, Flåklypa gullutgaven(gold edition) ofc dont have to choose gold edition, but i found it less buggy. And ofc aditional stuff alot of 3d stuff too, like blue and red. This game one of my most nodtalgic and favourite game, there was btw sort of remake xmas 2021 for pc and switch.. after playing the remake I had to go back to the original on my own beige retro pc... and the original game is amazing, it is based on old norwegian stop animation movie, so game is point and click with scenes from movie, and lots of minigames. Really the minigames was awesome. Being a norwegian game everything is in morwegian altough u can turn on english subtibles for the scenes, but menus still norwegian, but should be easy to navigate. The remake only included a few of the minigames...and managed to make them so much worst, but the focus on the remake was the racing game, which in original was just a simple top down 2d minigame, but in remake is full 3d, and I was the new game would have only gocus on the racing part instead of making it as remake since they messed up the few minigames the included, which ofc they also made into 3d, whoåich is why ibthink theyvendrd up so bad.... anyway the original flåklypa game from late 90s is amazing!!! Well amazing for kid...mayby blinded hy nostalgia heh.
