  • Hans van Klinken’s world famous Klinkhammer. From the beginning tied to mimic an emerging caddis. But this is a true allround fly that can be tied in many different ways to mimic the critters we meet on the water.
    Here tied in a midge version.

    I have never seen someone wrap the thread through the hackle on a parachute until now and admittedly I was skeptical. I am impressed. Great time! 👍

      It is how Hans Van Klinken did them from the beggining. You need thin thread though, I use Nano Silk 18/0, and I give the bobbin a twist before. Try it, will give you a far more durable fly.

    I have Klinkhammer hooks down to size 20 and have never used them .Now ,thanks to you I can .thanx Ken .( I will use EP fibres for the post).
