not a single doctor has ever performed these on me, nor told me it might be beneficial... they also failed to get me diagnosed with asthma for 20 years, and told little 11 year old me to just take hormones against the pain. gonna see the gynaecologist for the first time in my life cause still hurts a lot, and am well past 25 now

I find videos like this really help people with phobias and other specific anxiety inducing things, it gives the option of experiencing it in a safe way and keeps the viewer in complete control of their environment. It’s absolutely brilliant for helping people build up a bit of a resistance, making it easier to actually do the activity. I’m sorry to hear about your traumatic experience and hope it’s something that heals.

The first unrealistic thing I’ve noticed is that it isn’t generally recommended to do CN examinations annually.
If you have certain risk factors or history, yes you might be advised to do so.
Otherwise, we just recommend annual screenings of other things based on your age and sex. CN exam is not one of them.
