In the 1970s when this was released by Candi Staton it quickly became THE get up song Nr 1 and filled the dance floors like magic. Such a fantastic groove. very well played by all and very well translated. Thanks everyone!.

Melissa took this classic hit from 1976 and sang it with conviction and did so much like the original, which is a compliment to her professionalism and exceptional talent. The rest of the group performed flawlessly, as we have come to expect week after week. Darren once again paid close attention to the final mix and produced another gem! Together, a SingIt Live classic for all time!

what more could u want? I mean Damien reading charts & still making the walls shake with his bass-boost on! Jack & Josh *horns* sounded like a 4-5 piece horn arrangment...both solos were great. Everybody was having fun bouncing off of each other! It was funny when the horn player did an imitation-dance of the backup singer and she cracked up when she realized it. *Good Fun, Awesome!*

One of my all time favourites, brings back lots of memories of a misspent youth and as always, you more than did it justice. Great arrangement, love the brass, and Mel's vocals are just effortless. She packs so much power in that voice, yet hardly breaks a sweat. The camera angles are great too - gives a different perspective. Thanks guys - loved it. x

They play with me on all the live shows here in Adelaide as part of The Cast. But we all come in for some recording fun with Darren.
