29:40 Thank you for riding up to the first crossing. Its what all true adventurers would have done. We possibly would have gone across the first to check out the first impassible. Shame no "Drop bears"
Been a blast taking mine offroad. Crash bars are a must, but besides that changing the mirrors to collapsible ones (cheap ones off Ali have been great), and putting offroad tyres on (AX41s), were the most critical changes. Otherwise, kept it stock and it performs great.
Super enjoy ur presentation and narration Josh, really inspires my own bike riding adventures, thanks mate💯🤙🇦🇺like the Himalayan but she heavy and as u say suspension needs work, she also needs foldable mirrors and come with some descent rubber. Nice helmet too
@@seawench555 thanks mate, I appreciate it. If I can get some other people out there enjoying themselves and having their own adventures then I’ve done my job. 👍🏼 Thanks for watching
Hey mate, I'm not 100% sure but I don't recall seeing any signs that mentioned permits. It's not a very long beach so it would be a bit of a pain to need a permit.
Also, the downshifting is interesting- the revs like to be high on the downshift and kept within the recommended speeds as per the manual- otherwise it’s a bit recalcitrant 😂
Hi Josh, one of the first thing I would do with the bike if I bought one just change the tyres and not really appropriate. When Riding in the bush like you said they get followed up with mud in a hurry. You need some good Nobbys and there’s some really good tyres out there at the moment and put on them and I will be at quite a few hundred bucks but It would be a total different ride Thanks for the video really enjoyed it Cliff from Logan city Queensland Australia. I’m on the big island
It’s a good bike josh for the money ,it’s not a dirt bike or a sports bike but it dose every thing it says on the tin ,I like mine I’m an older and short rider don’t go too fast it’s perfect for what I do good all round bike and no bloody plastic ,just a single thumper but it dose it put some 50- 50 tyres on it 👍❤️😎old jimmy WA
In answer to the question. No it's a terrible adventure bike... for me! It's like riding an army tank but also built like one so will get you many places.
NSW is so beautiful. Will have to explore someday.
Thanks for the beautiful cinematic adventure tour!

@OsirionBeamEngine I had to see mate. The adventurer in me wanted to still attempt the track. 🤣

After seeing that beautiful country side I I’ve definitely bought the wrong bike to be getting back into riding.
@@craigkaschan4822 haha. Time for a change again?
Do you need a permit for riding on the beach?. A great ride.

Yeah u need a permit, but it allows u to ride a lot of beaches on mid north coast and far North Coast
What tank bag are you using? Nelson Rigg?

Anyone know if the 450 is coming to the USA? Haven't seen it here yet.
@@jeffkonves1428 from my quick google search it says they started landing around August-September for you guys. So they might be around 🤷🏼♂️
I’m waiting for my rally seat and mudguard. The seat is a literal pain in the arse after an hour 😂
I found it to be pretty good. But I am coming from mostly dirt bikes i guess. 😆
@@_JoshJB_haha! Well, I did put a different seat on my DR about a couple of years ago. Probably my bony arse.
You're right, the seat is terrible. I ended up getting the touring seat. Much better for long road trips.
the rally seat is a lot less comfortable 😅
What type of mudguards?
Thanks
Epic ride!
Is it me or there is a quality improvement of the vid? :)

You know they have a slipper clutch as standard and they can take getting use to
looks like your handlebar is bent to right side.
