Hey Bill, thanks for showing that first, frustrating target. Somehow it’s encouraging for a rookie to see a professional struggle a bit. It’s also helpful to see how wire trash can ghost the detector. AND…. Nice Nugget! We’re busy elk hunting for now but looking forward to nugget hunting soon. Thanks again!

Nice find and a fun time out! It is worth it regardless of the junk. I have learned to enjoy just being able to dig targets and be thankful for any day we can get out. The blessings are in being out in creation and seeing the Lord's handy work!

Took me a couple days to finally watch this...looks like you could use a pin pointer.
I hate wire...I remember the first P.I. I had was a Garrett Infinium LS, and spent 1/2 hr and 14 inches down for a little piece of wire...lol

Glad to see you are back posting vids. I always use Docs original scoop, I have abandoned the pregnant scoop. I see you are using the OEM 11 coil, do you prefer it to the after market coils? I normally use the CT 10 5 for ease but really believe the OEM 11 maybe the best. Guess I can't make up my mind. Your thoughts? Look forward to the next vid.

I use the Coiltek 14 x 9, 9 round, and 10 x 5 as well as the stock Minelab 11 round and 17 elliptical when wanting extreme depth

I think that scoop needs to go. Not sure what the purpose of the design, it seems to get in the way. It may good for some other job.

Sorry Bill, but I gave up watching after you finally found the first target. It was frustrating the heck out of me & I couldn't keep on watching. I don't know why you didn't wave a magnet over it at the very beginning. It would have found it straight away. I also don't know why that after losing it the first couple of times that when you were down to that half teaspoon of material in your scoop that you didn't just dump that on your coil & chase it around with your finger isolating it. I don't think those gloves were helping you either. As the small bit of wire was most likely getting caught up. The gold monster would have done better for pin pointing once you moved the target. How about trying the 10x5 goldhawk coil. It is a killer.

I dont think its fair to attack the viewer, they have given constructive criticism and imho its valid. Small bits of wire are the 6k nemisis and should never be filmed or thought about ever

@GoldfieldsGoose the goldmonster I own was bought from Bill and one of the first thing that I detected was a piece of wire that drove me to get a magnet!..best 3 bucks I've ever spent!🤠
