Aidan Gillen is criminally underrated imo, such a great actor, and very intelligent for what I tell, when he’s asked a question, he doesn’t say unnecessary stupid stuff like most actors, he takes his own time to think and comes up with interesting/clever things to say. Mad respect xxx
ffs sake AG is a million miles from arrogant.very level headed hard working talented man..does loadz o gigs for free and very supportive to other upcoming artists..very underrated internationally. Total gent...arrogant my bollox.
Blows my mind that he is only 40 in this. He looks so young and beautiful. His answers are always super 'insider'. I can tell the regular dumbasses on the comments by the ones that cannot understand him or think he is awkward. He's talking as an actor, a fan of good filmmaking, and a knowledgable and desirable player in that world. He's fucking perfect.
His accent seems still kind of americanized from the wire in this interview -- he actually sounds more Irish or sort of English (from game of thrones) now
I really think about this every day. Every time I see a large male, every time I think about a plane, every time somebody mentions the CIA, every time somebody asks about a mask, every time I weigh on the scale, every time somebody mentions the want to be a Dr. , every time somebody says they're not their friends, every time somebody mentions loyalty, every time somebody mentions Batman. Holy shit. It's a part of me now. This scene is a big guy for me, and taking over my brain must have been a part of it's plan. Of course, Bravo Nolan you're a real human being and a true detective. I don't know what to do anymore. I wake up in the middle of the night and immediately yell FOR YOU! I just can't help it. Every dream I can remember for the past 6 months has had to do with this fucking scene. Even if it's just the faintest sound of the plane. Oh my God. Please save me. Somebody. I can't take it. My life is crashing with no survivors.
Aidan was in the lonely Passion of Miss Judith Herne?, that's my favourite Maggie Smith movie after her role as Augusta Bertram in Travels with My Aunt. I have always been a huge Maggie Smith fan since I was very small. Did Aidan play the young boy who had piano lessons off Judith ?or the brother of the young girl having lessons who's mother, dismissed Judith due to her missing her daughters lesson? I honestly can't remember seeing him in that movie
Been watching him on film since the early 90's....Aidan can come across as obnoxious and snobbish....he's really VERY shy and insecure in front of this type of audience. This was actually a really fun interview...he came out of his shell a lot here and it was nice to see him relax a little and laugh. Aidan is quite thoughtful and hesitant when he's answering questions as he thinks about his responses carefully...this quality can also make him appear snotty...he is SOOO not. Plenty of fan interactions can attest to his quiet and friendly manner. I asked him a few questions when he had a fan website....I hoped for an answer to one...he answered them all...in essay form...he spent a lot of time considering his responses. Very considerate and appreciative imo. Amazing actor and a very decent person.

Very interesting guy. He seems honest and intelligent. The interview should have been much longer.
Fucking genius of an actor
He reminds me of a young gary Oldman :)

I agree. He's absolutely one of my favorite actors and reading some comments about him being arrogant is quite shocking. He is far from that.
He would've made a great Doctor Who 😍
I want to see that
so good looking here!!
I'm really really glad he got to keep his accent on QAF
I adore Aidan! Handsome and funny and shy, he’s lovely.
8:04 everytime he looks to the side and I see his profile all I see is littlefinger lol
A good actor with a good looking
Awesome man! Love him!

The 'regular dumbasses' posts aren't as 'insider' as yours Laura. Gillen wouldn't mark you so high for brevity though. Less than perfect.

Aiden is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wonderful and true actor. 😊
Every time I see him acting different characters I begining to like him more & more!!!!
Love him in "Some Mothers Son" and "Love/Hate"
aweee his little “hi :)” in the beginning 🥺

Since I watched Blitz, my favourite actor became Aiden Gillen...
He looks so horribly attractive here.
He always looks like that ;) XD
portishphonic I guess winter isn't the only thing that's coming...
+Copacetic HAHAH

Kenetic Kups For you.
Never seen the Wire, however picked up David Simon's book whilst at university, it was phenomenal..
He looks like a younger Gary Oldman.
So Gary Youngman.
ugh daddy gonna be daddy
Lord love him, he's hot and so talentedl, but that's some seriously experimental hair he's got going on there. ;-)
His hair is always funny XD
What a big guy for you
Love the Irish accent very thicke
He changed so much since that time. Now his interviews r kinda strict and short, and back then he used to be some sort of easygoing and optimistic)
It ends at the best part
YOU'RE A YOUNG GUY!
FOR YOU

Is this some kind of skit?
He starts talking about The Wire at 8:43
absolutely blows my mind this guy is not American after his performance in the wire. Special special actor
Oof damn :')
'Why are you doing that accent?'
More people should have asked him this throughout his career.

Jesus we have got some great actors in this country, i'm not sure if that's a good thing though, we call them chancers here haha.

Neither of them. He had a very brief part as a young guy selling some alcohol to Judith at the door of a liquor store.
Steve Coogan wold do a great impression , have you heard his Pierce Brosnan, sublime!
че 8 лет назад такие хуевые камеры были да? а эйдан прекрасен
This was recorded 14 years ago
Not sure
In germany we would say Lauch
Tell me about Bane? Why does he wear the mask?
What's the name of that song?
thanks
Darude - Sandstorm
I saw Macbeth performed by 4 people dressed as Aidan IS for this interview. Neutral clothing allows you to 'hear' the characters speak ! 🤠🥸🙏😍
typo :Hearne
"The nidge weasel"
hes not from dublin, hes from derry. thats what he told christy moore one night on 2
Brian Bussoli Doesn't really have a Derry accent tho
He's from Drumcondra....his accent is spot on but he's lost a bit of it due to his time outside the area.
Zero actors can do so called( White Working Class) Baltimore Accent. Always end up doing Boston or New York.
I'm an actor
He later used that Manchester posh for got Lol
ддддд
Good actor...can’t bear to listen or look at him being interviewed coz he’s obnoxious
He's shy!
Yeah, he is. Very much so, k.
